Convert the voice into MP3 format.Connect player to computer by USB data cable. There will be a removable disk appearing on computer. Format the “removable disk”.Open that removable disk, then copy your mp3 files to this disk. (Note: Before copying, delete all Manufacturer’s files frist, then copy your own files to this device.)
Please note:
It doesn’t come with Halloween music or sound. You audio should be within 4MB. If total size of audio files is over 4MB, no audio will be transferred to device. (If you need device with larger memory, please click M13 below, which support external memory.)This small motion sensor sound device is designed for indoor use only. External use will result in moisture damaging internals of the device. I bought a few of these to put in my haunted house so that when people walked passed them (even though they couldn’t see them, they went off! They worked better than expected. The sensor works great, the volume goes louder than I expected and it was so easy to use!

Works when you get one that works!
After reading many product reviews, and posting questions to the Amazon community, I found that my first purchase was a lemon. It just plain didnât work. I didnât know if it was me, or if I needed an SD card, or if something we were doing was wrong. None of that was true. It was just a lemon. The second one I ordered worked perfectly, and was very easy to program. I simply dropped my MP3 onto the drive once it was connected to my computer, and voilà ! Working motion-detected sound machine. Great product when you get one that works!

Tried for hours to get it to work…Nothing
The device worked initially with the preloaded sounds. I followed the instructions exactly as provided to add my own sounds. The files I used are MP3, the names are 1.mp3, 2.mp3, etc. Each file is only about 60kb — all files totaling no more than 500kb together. After trying different configurations for several hours, I was unable to get it to play any of my sounds. I tried following other reviewers’ advice of turning the switch on and off, holding buttons, etc, but still no luck. I can see the light flash when I hold the A button down, but other than that, no action/sound. I have not been able to get my own sounds out since replacing the files. I am pretty tech savvy and was still unable to get it to work.I do not recommend because either the device does not work as advertised, or the instructions are so terribly written that following them does not yield expected results.

Fantastic and very easy to set up and use
This thing is pretty great, and honestly way easier than you would think1. Plug this into your computer/tabletIt should show up as some kind of storage device. It has about 0.5 gigs which isn’t a lot, but for an audio file, it’s plenty.2. Select the audio file you want to add to the device and drag and drop it into the deviceIf for whatever reason the new file is too large, you can delete the pre-existing files by simply selecting them and deleting them. I did this from the start to make things simpler. The instructions that come with the device don’t really make it clear how to select just one audio recording. To make things simple, I just have one recording on the device.3. After you have the audio file you want on the device, and have safely unpaired/unmounted from your computer/tablet, install the device where you want it. It comes with some plastic mounting hardware, but I used a command strip because it’s more apartment friendly.4. Enjoy! In my video the device plays the opening to the haunted mansion ride. It has a switch on the side for volume and power. All the way to the top is high volume, the middle is low volume, and the bottom is off. It’s that simple!Hope this helps ð

Small, LOUD, perfect for Halloween spookiness!
After a lot of searching, I settled on this device for my yard for halloween. Extremely pleased with my choice! The device is extremely small, but whacks a great punch in terms of sound! It’s able to reach very far in terms of detecting motion. Up to 13 ft. In my video, you can barely see where I hid it. I made sure it gets pointed out to you so you can see how far away it was yet I am still able to hear the audio very clearly from where I am standing.If you want to hide it even better, like I did, put some black tape over the red light that turns on when the motion sensor activates. It does not interfere with the function of the device if this light gets covered.

Very pleased, had to edit music to fit
I’m very pleased. I at first was disappointed because all that fit in there was 1 song. This, after I removed the pre-recorded music in there, and formatted.So I went to my Audacity, and created a mix of my scary music, that’s a little longer than 3 minutes. But, you have to save it as an MP3, not WAV. If you d a WAV, no song will fit.It’s extremely sensitive to motion, so I’m loving that. It’s super loud. So in the daytime I have the switch all the way up, and at night, I put the switch in the middle for the subtle sound.I’ve included a video for you to see.So, far I love it! (I’m glad I saw a Youtube Vidoe on this. I do wish I was able to insert a memory card in there, though. I did open the box to see if there was an SD card in there, and I was going to add mine. But, no. It’s got the kind that looks like a reel.I’m not sure if this is waterproof.I’m extremely happy.
