No battery option (especially for back up if power goes out) , no USB plug adapter
Its ok that it has the USB for the power purpose, but what happens if the power goes out. It should have the battery option as a back up like my alarm clock has. Also even though a USB cord was sent with this item it did not come with an adapter plug.

Not good at all. Power cord falls out
I wasnât able to set it up because the power cord is too short and doesnât stay securely plugged into the sensor. Even when itâs not stretched, it keeps disconnecting, making it impossible to use. A longer, more secure power cord would greatly improve the usability of this product.

The product was very straightforward to set up and install. The app itself left a little to be desired but it was still very workable.

1. Pir sensor works with smart life app but not compatible with Google Home / assist.2. box /manual says 2 AAA BATTERIES but it works only with AC power 5v USB, no baterycompartment at all.3. it triggers with my cat ð¸ all the time! 🙁

EZ n Simple to use, supposedly.
More secure than using Ip camera, at times. It can be loud, it can be colorful, it can be both, or it can be silent but deadly. I prefer the latter. Ez setup using SmartLife app. Manual is pretty clear and helpful on how to setup, and operate. I’m glad they used USB to power the device, instead of 3 prong outlet. It makes it easier to place wherever you please more discreetly. I can also use power bank in case of power outage. Again, useless if you are away in that scenario, cuz you know? Local mode. There are few cons that I found with this device. 1. There is no automatic connection like using smartplug. 2. Manual arm and disarm. If you are panicking with the loud speaker, pheeew…. not only the intruder will try to slap this thing to millions pieces. Quick notification, but you must clear the pop up, and click the arm and disarm button. I would prefer to disarm it automatically once I touched the pop up, as that means I am well aware. If not, you wouldn’t notice that this thing still blaring loudly while you are away, and that it might annoy your neigbor as well. Currently, I have to look at the notification that it has been disarmed by user, oh, but don’t forget to arm it back up. This is why I prefer the silent mode, and I think they knew of this issue by adding this feature, lol. 3. Garbage wifi connection. I tried it in the same room, too.
