Great little wifi camera for indoor use.
I have had two of these cameras now for several months and they are great. The picture quality is decent, the sound quality is decent, and they are easy enough to setup. You can flip and rotate what image, so you can mount it just about whatever way you want. You can change the recording duration and frequency. This will impact battery life, but I’ve had no issues with the battery life so far on my cameras. The motion sensor works pretty well and the night visions is pretty good too.My only issue is with the app. The app was a little more difficult to figure out that it should have been, but it isn’t terrible. Trying to download videos, the app will freeze up sometimes, but other than that, I’ve had no issues with it.For what you pay, these cameras are well worth the buy.

    Great home security monitoring system
Set up an in home security monitoring system with 4 areas monitored. Each camera is battery operated and so did not require any wiring for power. The cameras are small & unobtrusive. Set up was a breeze and pairing with the mobile phone was seamless. The video images are so very clear and detailed and in color and cover a large area. The mobile app used is so intuitive to set up and use. I very much liked that the battery level for each camera is indicated and that you could also turn audio and notifications on or off. Great value for a very fair price! I give it 5+++ stars.

    Great camera
Bought this camera to monitor a water leak temporarily but it’s really come in handy. It does not need to be plugged in and works great with just a battery charge. I did not use the cloud storage but I put a memory card in it and it’s just as good. It has a clear picture and motion detection. It has night vision and I’m really impressed with this little camera. You can record videos live from the app. The picture is clear and I’m impressed again with the battery life. Checking it live one to two times a day and the camera has lasted two months on just battery. A+

    Surprisingly capable small security camera
This mini Javiscam is super easy to set up, and for its size is surprisingly capable. With the slightest bit of motion, I get an alert on my cell phone through the UBox App, and can choose to take a quick picture or video for reference later. I even use it for outside surveillance by placing it inside on a window sill. As they clearly state in the instructions, the motion sensor doesn’t work with that application against a window, but it allows me to check in on my property for real time viewing in a super easy and very inexpensive way.For someone looking for a simple, but effective, stand alone camera that you can use without a bunch of third party support and data storage if you don’t want, then this is the camera for you.

  8. Works great, amazing quality

Great quality, more than I expected
Easy setup, great sound and video quality. Battery lasts for a couple days, which isn’t long for a wireless camera but still good for the price. Only downside other than that is the 20 second video clips when motion is detected. Not very practical when used in an area with high traffic. Would order again but software needs updated to have longer video duration.

I’ve recently purchased a dozen of these cameras. They really work great! Easy to set up, and easy to use. I use the vendor’s app running on an iPad Pro to configure and control them. The cameras are small, and the mounting bracket makes mounting the cameras onto walls simple. I had a number of requirements, and this camera meets all of them: local SD-card video storage (the vendor does offer cloud storage, which is configurable), very long battery life on a charge (I’m getting 30+ days on a charge – they sleep when nothing is happening, and wake up when motion is detected), no blinky attention-getting LEDs when in use (from the camera-side they are dark, I assume that’s the “hidden spy camera” feature!), easy to point (image can be inverted if camera mounting is inverted), good image quality both in normal room lighting and low-light environments (low-light video is monochrome, but resolution and contrast are excellent), automatic switching to low-light mode as necessary, and easy to un-mount for recharging when required (camera easily unclips from mounting bracket). The app is simple enough to use without instruction, and has been 100% reliable. The app has no problem handling 12 cameras at the same time. The app will notify you whenever there is motion in a monitored room, telling you which camera detected the motion — perfect for my application! The fact that the camera only starts recording when there is motion, and after a time-out goes back to sleep when there is no motion means the video that is recorded has all the static “nothing is happening” video excluded from the recording — no fast-forwarding through static images of a room nor SD-cards full of nothing. With a dozen cameras, I had to up my game with respect to USB charging, and bought a 10-port 60 watt USB charger so I can charge them in one session (I have a separate 2-port USB adapter as well). If you can get power to them when mounted, the cameras do operate while plugged in for charging, so that is an option. I highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for a reliable and simple-to-use security camera that comes with a well written app to configure and control the camera.

Needed a camera to keep an eye on an aging parent while I’m at work, ensuring they are taking their medication and such. The motion feature of this camera works great and the image is very clear. I am surprised with how much audio this can also pick up as the space it monitors is about 300 sq feet, more surprising still is this camera being next to a TV (which I can hear in the recording) but also does not garble the audio of another person speaking despite the interference. Of course, this depends on where they are in the room – I can’t hear everything in the 300 sq ft when its recordingVery easy to set up. Download and app, scan a code, input your wifi info and then its live. With motion sensing off, the camera came out of the box with a full charge and worked for 4 days (off at night time) before needing to be plugged in for a charge. With motion sensing on, a full charge of the battery lasted almost 3 days, but not quite (about 7 -10 triggers in a day).its also discreet and I feel it is worth the money. I’ve decided to operate it without an SD card, but you can absolutely insert one for storage purposes should you want to.

I recently tried out the Funstorm 2K Spy Camera, and overall, it’s a solid, compact device with a lot of potential. For anyone looking for a small, easy-to-set-up security camera, it delivers well on these fronts. However, after using it extensively, I found a few areas where improvements would significantly enhance the user experience, especially if you’re relying on it for security in a high-traffic area.Pros: Simple Setup, Compact Design, and Quality BuildThe camera is genuinely user-friendly when it comes to setup. The instructions included are basic but cover everything you need to get started—download the app, connect the camera, and adjust motion detection, night vision, and video length. The compact design is a definite plus, as it’s easy to place discreetly in any room. Additionally, the camera feels well-built and sturdy, adding to its appeal as a reliable option for home monitoring. Installation is straightforward, making it accessible for users of all experience levels.Cons: Limited Guidance Beyond BasicsWhile the initial setup is easy, the camera lacks support when it comes to its more advanced settings, which can be frustrating for users who need more detailed guidance. For instance, there are settings like “power frequency” with options for 50 or 60 Hz, but no explanation in the manual or online about what this does, leaving users to search online or rely on trial and error. One of the most confusing settings is cloud video duration, which lacks a clear explanation of how it functions. This setting offers options like 5, 10, 20, or 30 seconds, as well as “full-time recording.” It appears that choosing a specific duration means the camera will record for that period when motion is detected, then go back to standby mode. However, it’s unclear whether the camera immediately starts recording a new clip if motion continues after that initial period or if there’s a delay before it reactivates. This could impact users who need reliable footage of continuous activity, like tracking someone moving through a room or monitoring an extended event. For example, if set to a 5-second duration, the camera might only capture brief snippets of motion, potentially missing important activity if the movement persists beyond the initial trigger. Choosing “full-time recording” would solve this issue but at the expense of significantly increased battery usage. A more comprehensive guide that explains how each duration setting behaves in real-world scenarios would be extremely helpful, as it would allow users to make more informed decisions about balancing battery life with reliable monitoring.A thorough, easy-to-understand manual or online resources explaining these features and providing examples would go a long way in making the camera more user-friendly, especially for those new to home security systems.SD Card and Formatting IssuesOne of the most significant drawbacks I experienced involved the SD card compatibility. I upgraded to a 128GB card, which the camera is supposed to support, but encountered frequent formatting issues. When I format the card on my computer to exFAT, the camera asks me to format it again. But when the camera formats the card, my computer can’t read it. This creates a major issue if you need to access footage directly from the SD card. Instead, I have to connect to the camera over Wi-Fi and download files one by one through the app, which is incredibly time-consuming. If I have a lot of footage to review, this can make the process nearly unmanageable, especially if I’m looking for something specific over a longer time period.Lack of Third-Party CompatibilityOne last limitation worth mentioning is the camera’s reliance on its proprietary app. There’s no information on whether the camera supports third-party apps or standard protocols like ONVIF or RTSP, which means you can’t integrate it with other home security setups. For users who prefer more flexibility, this could be a drawback, especially since it also limits external storage options outside of their cloud subscription.Final ThoughtsOverall, the Funstorm 2K Spy Camera offers excellent picture quality, a user-friendly app, and an easy setup for basic use. It’s perfect if you need a simple, compact camera and don’t mind relying on the app for everything. However, for anyone who needs greater flexibility in terms of SD card access, advanced settings, or battery life management, there are limitations to keep in mind. I’d recommend this camera for basic home monitoring but suggest looking for other options if you need more robust, user-friendly options for high-traffic areas or long-term security storage.

I am beyond impressed with this small security camera! Its compact size makes it incredibly discreet, yet it delivers powerful performance. The video quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night with the infrared feature. Setting it up was a breeze—just a few minutes and it was up and running. One of my favorite features is motion detection. It sends alerts directly to my phone, so I never miss anything important, even when I’m away from home. The app is easy to use and provides real-time viewing from anywhere. Another standout feature is the ability to store footage either locally on an SD card or through cloud storage, giving me flexibility depending on my needs. Despite its small size, this camera is packed with features typically found in much larger, more expensive models. Overall, this small security camera exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, ease of use, and performance. It’s a great investment for anyone looking for an affordable yet reliable security solution. Highly recommend it!

This camera works very well, was actually pretty surprised of how clear the image is.Set up was SO easy, took me like 5 min to di it all and everything works very well.Notifications work even if I am out of home, sensor detector work great, and the battery is lasting!! I’ve had it active for almost 3 weeks, and it’s at 75i%!!I previously had a different camera from a different brand and I remeber it was such a pain in the ass to set, battery was dead affter like 4-5 days and overall was not working. This one is so good, honnestly loving it. I waited almost a month after my purchase to be sure of how it is working and I love it.One thing a bit bothering but honestly not that much for me : night vision isn’t the greatest, still clear image but not the best. But overall, VERY satisfied, and I will absolutely purchase again.
