Boat Fishing
There are 3 different ways to use the portable fish finder from a kayak or a boat.
Throw the sonar transducer and float into the water.
Attach the sonar transducer to the hull of the boat or kayak.
Attach the sonar transducer to transducer mounting arm then put the transducer into the water.
Ice Fishing
Please clear away snow to expose the ice surface. It is the preparation to cut a hole.
Put the sonar transducer directly on the ice, and the ice must be free of air bubbles.
Usually you could read data on the display. If you are satisfied with this position, I suggest you to drill a hole and put the sonar transducer in the water to get more accurate detection
Shore Fishing
Cast the sonar transducer and the float into water.
Use a fishing pole to guide the transducer to a desirable position.
Water Temperature & Air Pressure Display :The portable fish finder can display water temperature to help you judge the fishing environment. Air pressure display is also available. The depth fish finder helps you better judge the environment by those detection data. The measurement unit of depth and temperature can be freely switched either in FT/M or ℉/℃.
