Amazed!
I have a 10 year old cctv system that need to be replace. Iâm glad to have choosen POE versus wifi. Hate to say it but wifi camera tend to lose connection everynow and then. It is a breeze to install and set up. The quality of the video is superb. The tracking capability is great. I only have good words for this specific reolink camera. I will be updating my comment if I do encounter issues.

Really nice for the price!
We have several older Reolink 5MP cameras that we like due to not having any fees and the ability to record 24/7. Bought this E1 POE SE for the tracking feature and the spotlight. So far, Iâm very impressed with this inexpensive camera. Tracks pretty good and the spotlight works as expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the improved detail the 8 MP camera gets over the older 5MP. Relatively easy to set up and the ability to store the video on an sd card as well as ftp the data or on a server makes this a great option for us. I do wish the vertical range was better but it can still do a good job with proper placement. Setup was easy once you have one POE camera, itâs super simple to add another. The one downside to this camera is that the cable sticks out the side of the camera. I would have preferred that it be able to be hidden under the camera like so many of the other Reolink cameras. A small issue that I think is solved with the more expensive cameras.Iâd give this 4.5 stars and rounded it up to 5 since the system doesnât allow you to give 1/2 stars.overall, Iâm very satisfied with this purchase and would buy again.

Good camera, but a flaw when panning.
I have 3 reolink bullet style cameras at my house and love that they are powered over ethernet (less wires) and surveillance feature rather than a camera with a subscription that records motion late and totally misses events. Love not having a subscription fee as well. When we purchased a 2nd home I decided to install these Reolink cameras again. I opted for this style so the camera can pan a whole area rather then a set location. I love the feature however, when I was panning I realized I could not get the camera to go back to the position it was previously at. I would click the arrow to pan up and it wouldn’t move. I climbed a ladder to check it out and I noticed that the rubber plug for the SD card had lifted out of the space (I wish I would have taken a picture) making the camera unable to pan back up. Because it was sticking out, it could not slide past. Once I pushed it in the camera panned up right away. But while playing around with it, it popped out again. This is a terrible flaw as it makes me not want to use the feature if I’m not able to climb a ladder right away at the chance the camera may not go back into the original position I want. It seems to mostly affect the ‘up’ and ‘down’ panning so side to side is fine and good enough for me. Also, I guess this is my fault but I thought these cameras would detect motion, pan to it and record motion but they don’t. Unless I haven’t figured out how to do that. I plan to investigate a little more. All in all I still prefer this type of camera over the bullet style. If the rubber plug isn’t in the way these cameras can pan just about 360 degrees. The light that pops on with motion at night helps the video but also you when you’re walking by to light up the area a bit. It doesn’t light up a large area but I like it. I would recommend.

Working like a charm, so far.
I like this camera very much. I tries the indoor version in my sister’s house and I liked the way the camera was able to identify persons and animals. Decided to give a try to the outdoor one and I’m very happy so far.

Way better than ring cameras
Upgraded from my ring cameras to Reolink cameras. Love them! The connection over PoE is a super nice touch. Easy to set up. Better quality than ring. They are faster to load when you open the Reolink, probably because itâs lan instead of Wi-Fi. No yearly fee. I love how when I open the app I get a live preview, ring just gave me an image. Better zoom than ring. For storage you can hook up a NVR, and/or use a microSD card on the camera. Doing both lets the microSD card just store motion triggered events while the NVR records 24/7. Strongly Recommended this eco system.

Great Camera with NVR
this camera is absolutely amazing. I did not require Zoom functionality. The IR lights and Spotlight are amazing.I do wanna share one issue I ran into, and that was the detection alert not working. I tried to update my NVR via the app automatically, and it said it was up-to-date. To fix this I had to go on my computer download the real link software to view on the PC, then I downloaded the firmware from the website, and then I installed it. So the issue was the automatic update was not pulling the updated firmware for my NVR. I was so relieved that this fixed my issue, because I had already mounted the cameras outside.I hope that this helps somebody, as it could be very discouraging to think that your camera is defective, when it really is just a firmware issue.if a company representative is reading this, please update your automatic firmware checker for the NVR. For some reason, it is not pulling the most recent firmware. I feel that this will lead to people who may be less technical to have major complaints about your hardware. When it really is a non-issue.thank you so much for this company for providing excellent security to my home and businesses.

Easy Install. Instant Wi-Fi access.
Pan, Zoom, Motion detection, what is not to like. These cameras provide excellent quality for value. Functionality is terrific. Customer Support was eager to help when I did have a problem with 1 camera after a year usage, easy fast replacement was provided.

Only had this for about a month now and have no issues with it. Typical reolink setup, works with pretty much all NVR software and no subscription fees. This is an outdoor camera, but I use it indoors, so I’m not sure how well it would hold up to a canadian winter. Picture quality is very good and detection/tracking features work as expected.

This camera is great, I had a lot of fun with it for a few days but in a moment of distraction did not secure the poll it was on and so It took a pretty hard nose dive.

La seule chose qu’il manque est un zoom. Sinon la meilleure caméra que j’ai eu à date.
