Very helpful device
Great device for anywhere that you need to turn on a light but having a switch to pull is too cumbersome. I have one in my pantry, mud room and laundry room. Itâs easy to install and works great with just about any type of bulb.

Have Only Used One Of The Three But It Is Working Just As We Had Hoped
This was a great alternative to having to replace the pull chain/string controlled light fixture once again. This was used in a light fixture above the laundry area of our basement where we have had to replace previous fixtures that were controlled by a pull string and chain which would break. The fixture works great but there was no way of turning it on and off so when the chain broke on the current fixture with the light on, I decided to try something different. This motion sensor was my best choice and upon receiving them I was able to install one in the socket very easily and it began working as we had hoped. Now when we approach that corner of the basement, the light comes on and stays on while we are moving about. Generally, when we are withing 10-12 feet of the sensor, the light will come on. Occasionally, if we have not move about within the sensor range, it will turn the light off but all we have to do is wave an arm to make it come back on. Much easier to install this than changing out the entire fixture.

Almost Perfect
These work pretty well. The downside that I have is that the contacts aren’t consistent. About once a month the bulb needs to be rotated or the contacts inside the socket need to be adjusted. It would be beneficial if the length of the assembly were shorter. By the time you add this to the bulb in a closet light – it lowers the bulb significantly. Otherwise – these work well and are inexpensive.

Perfect for basements
I have an unfinished basement with overhead light sockets screwed into joists that turn on with a pull string. In the dark basement you walk around waving your hands in front of you searching for a dangling string… Hopefully you find the string before your baby toe finds a box! Hut no longer! I walk into my basement and the lights turn on automatically… And they turn off when I leave. There are two adjustment screws.. one for sensitivity and one to set how long the light stays on. Perfect!

Sensor socket
Did not like these at all. Save you money. Did not work, no matter what we did.

These work ok
These turn on with motion but they don’t stay on long enough. I bought them for closets that have just a bulb with a pull chain but after you walk into the closet I don’t think that it can detect motion from directly under it and so it turns off. It works for smaller closets but not for the walk-ins.

Easy light solution
Used these in 5 of the old school pull string style light fixtures in the basement. Left the fixtures on and these sensors turn on the lights perfectly as you walk through the basement. Where there were 3 light left on 24/7 there are now none left on when the basement isnât being used. Perfect!

Actually work as described
Needed motion sensor lights in several places where there isn’t a switch near the entrance. Had tried motion sensing bulb sockets that screwed into the standard socket but wasn’t happy with them, then found these and tried a couple. Immediately after installing and trying I ordered more. They work great, come on when I’m within about 8 feet of the bulb, only stay on less than 30 seconds after I leave the area, and don’t come on during fairly bright light (there’s one in the garage in a passage to another room). No extra gadgets or devices or cords, just screw them into the existing light socket (works best and is recommended for standard overhead light sockets).

This is what I needed for my hallways… motion sensor bulbs don’t have any setting option… but this small item has solved the issue…

I installed these products in my basement so I can find my way to the areas I need to get to, rather than rewiring so that all the lights come on.
