HD clear pictures quality security cameras with easy installation
I like these security cameras with solar panels mounted on it. And it looks attractive too. It seems to have very good design and strong construction. The setup was straightforward,. All necessary mounting hardware included and took minimal installation. Having Solar panels on the camera really eliminates need for recharging or carrying out wiring. The hub extends Wi-Fi range and has 32GB of local storage, so there’s no need for a cloud subscription. The cameras are well-made, weather-resistant, and easy to install, with clear day and night resolution. The app is intuitive, offering customizable settings. Highly recommended for an efficient and reliable home security solution.

Quality product and superlative customer service!
I live in a pretty safe neighborhood, but I thought it wise to hedge myself by installing a few simple cameras on my home – you just never know. I did some research and I found the AOSU video doorbell was a good choice to get started (high-resolution video, glass lens and no monthly fees). I’ll review the doorbell on its product page later. I was happy with the doorbell after a few days of use, so I decided to add two additional cameras to my setup.I saw these solar cameras in AOSU’s Amazon store and I ordered right away. I like the wireless installation and the integrated solar panels on each camera. I also like that I can easily add these cameras to the same app I use for the doorbell. Before installation, I set up the base station and added the cameras to my network. You will need to install a firmware update before adding the cameras or they will not register as being on. The update is a simple tap within the app and took only about a minute to complete.I installed the first of two cameras on the front of my home once initialized. Installation was as easy as it gets and it was up and running straight away. I had to put off the installation of the second camera, which I’ll get to in a moment. It’s somewhat early to fully review these cameras as I’ve only had one of two operational for about a week now. I will however share my experience so far.Setup: Straight-forward and easy – no tech knowledge is necessary – just follow the prompts within the app and you’re good to go.The AOSU app: I’ve found the app to be intuitive and easy to use. The live video loads quickly and so far I’ve not had any glitches. The app is comprehensive for setting up. I like this app quite a bit for its simplicity and seamless operation. Once your cameras are installed, explore the video/motion settings within the app and tweak your system to perfection.Video quality: I am pleased with the video quality so far. If you have ample lighting in the areas the cameras will cover, the color night vision is good to have. In the event someone needs to be identified at night, clothing/vehicle colors can be important.Motion detection and alerts: When I first installed the front camera, I was getting countless alerts of passing vehicles and pedestrians. I’ve since adjusted the app’s sensitivity and detection zone; currently, I only get alerts when I am coming and going on my driveway – no vandals or intruders to report thankfully.Siren and spotlight: I haven’t armed my front camera with this feature to avoid potential false alarms; I do plan however to arm my rear camera as no one should be in that area at night.AOSU Customer Service: When planning my 2 camera installation, I discovered that my rear-facing camera would be affixed onto a north-facing wall, which might not receive adequate sunlight for the camera’s integrated solar panel. I reached out to AOSU Customer Service to find out if a remote solar panel could be plugged into the north wall camera to provide proper charging. Lynette promptly responded to my query and arranged a very affordable solution for me. Now that I have everything to get my 2nd camera up and running, I just need a warm day to do the installation! Thanks Lynette – super customer service!Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I am anxious to get the second camera installed to take full advantage of this security system. I highly recommend this camera set and the AOSU brand.

    Good Product, Excellent Customer Service
I bought the two camera version the week before last. One camera works fine and stays charged (solar). The second would not charge with the built in solar but would charge with the supplied cable, the problem being it needed charging every three days. It also generated errors on consumption of power which looked like too much motion, which in fact was not accurate. I spoke to customer service at least twice and they were remarkably easy to reach. After trying a few experiments at their direction, they escalated to level two and that same day began a short email exchange which resulted in me purchasing a second set of cameras, replacing the faulty one (replacement works perfectly) and returning one set for a credit. My preference would have been for Support to mail me a new camera but that apparently was not an option. Anyway, all is well, cameras both now work and stay 100% charged. I have them sleep during the day and wake from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, the hours I want added protection.

Best camera with solar and free storage
If you’re looking for the perfect outdoor cameras for your home or business, look no further! These cameras have it all: easy to set up (and trust me, I’m a single female who isn’t handy and set them up by myself), great storage capability (can load any size SD card), and an amazing app for live footage or recordings that you can download to your phone. The solar panels are also embedded right onto the camera, so no need for extra drilling and the battery life is amazing. The picture quality also could not be better, including HD live footage, still shots, and even night vision better than my former Ring cameras. The cameras have a wide lens and can see very far range into the distance. These cameras are no doubt the best, most functional, high quality cameras you’ll find at this price.

Perfect for Home Security – Easy Setup and No Monthly Fees!
I was looking for a solid security system without any subscription fees, and these AOSU solar cameras turned out to be exactly what I needed!Setting them up was a breeze. I had all four cameras installed and running in less than 10 minutes. Since they’re solar-powered, I don’t have to worry about charging or dealing with extra wires, which makes it super convenient. The video quality is really impressive—clear 2K resolution, and the color night vision is a huge plus. I can see everything, even at night, thanks to the spotlight feature.I love that all the recordings are stored locally, so there’s no need to pay for cloud storage. The app makes it easy to access footage when I need it, and it’s pretty user-friendly too.Another nice feature is the dual WiFi support (5G and 2.4G), so I had no issues placing the cameras wherever I wanted around my home.Overall, these cameras have been fantastic—great quality, easy to set up, and no ongoing costs. If you want reliable home security without the hassle, I definitely recommend these!

Good cameras, very easy to install and setup with the Aosu app. Solar powered, so no cables to run. Battery life is exceptional, I have yet to see them below 96% charge, even after cloudy days.Video and sound quality are good, but be aware they’re not 4K cams. The ability to set motion alarms(lights/siren) may be of interest to some people. For me, the motion alert on the app is all I have set up.Wifi range seems to be good, I have them around my house up to 100 feet from the nearest router, and signal has been great.

  8. Find-Smart-Value

After setting up the AOSU Solar Security Camera System, I can confidently say it’s a game-changer! The setup for testing took just 5 minutes – no wires, no complicated instructions. With the built-in solar panels, the cameras are powered by sunlight, so there’s no need to worry about frequent recharging. Even after three consecutive cloudy days, the robust 10,000 mAh internal battery kept the cameras running smoothly. In fact, the battery can last up to 4-5 days without sun! Here is more about what I love about this system:✅ Crystal-Clear 2K Vision: Both the day and night vision capabilities are exceptional. The 2K resolution provides incredible clarity (I didn’t expect such a quality!), even in low-light conditions. The color night vision feature ensures that every detail is captured vividly, and the cross-camera tracking is perfect for complete property coverage.✅ Real-Time Tracking: One moment that stood out for me was when the cross-camera tracking followed a delivery person across my front yard while I was away. The motion detection triggered the spotlights and sent me a real-time notification. I watched the whole interaction live, and the video quality was sharp – even in low light. This level of responsiveness and clarity is impressive.✅ Easy Installation: Setting up the cameras was a breeze, but I did ensure they were placed in optimal sunlight angles to maximize efficiency. While they don’t need perfect sun exposure, avoiding heavy shade is key to keeping them powered efficiently. Looks like the solar panel is exceptionally efficient, and made of special material!✅ No Monthly Fees: The 32GB local storage can hold up to 120 days of footage (didn’t test yet, but probably depends on the number of events recorded), which is more than enough for my needs, especially since the system records only event-based footage. The local storage means no ongoing costs unless you want to upgrade to the cloud service. Which I am planning, since AOSU offers a trial now.✅ Security Features: The siren, spotlight deterrents, and smart motion alerts provide an extra layer of security. I feel confident knowing intruders will be detected immediately.✅ Intelligent app – makes controlling and monitoring incredibly easy. From the app, I can access real-time views, adjust settings like motion detection sensitivity, manage battery performance, and even link the cameras with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The app’s cross-camera tracking is a game-changer, giving me instant notifications with a preview image when an event is detected – whether it’s people passing by or staying in the detection zone. You can even watch live streams from multiple cameras on one screen, and the 2K HD video clarity ensures you never miss a detail. This level of control from my phone, no matter where I am, has brought peace of mind to a whole new level!Con ❎: The system records event-based footage only, which is ideal for home use, but it might not suit businesses that require continuous recording. Additionally, there’s no slot for SD cards, so you’re limited to the built-in 32GB storage. However, the cloud storage option gives added flexibility. Anyway, the cloud is the future and I am getting used to it! So, I guess this is not a real Con.All-In-All: Overall, this system is perfect for homeowners seeking easy setup, robust local storage, and excellent security features. While not ideal for businesses with continuous recording needs, it’s an unbeatable value at around $300, especially since you can expand it with two more cameras if needed.

I am a huge fan of AOSU products and already owned their doorbell camera and a 360 pan tilt camera, so these Solar Cameras were a very welcome addition to my existing ecosystem & app. The installation was an absolute breeze, and I actually ended up using the included hardware to mount these cameras directly into my brick house. So long as you use the correct size drill bit, the plastic anchors can work basically anywhere.Image quality, both day and night is absolutely fantastic. You can see everything you practically need to see, and even have the ability to zoom in on objects both recorded and in live view. I have my home base set up with ethernet cord in my home office. The first camera is installed on the 2nd floor on the opposite end of my house, and the other is above the garage overlooking the driveway. WiFi signal strength never goes below 70%, which is impressive.Besides boring you by regurgitating the product features already listed in the ad, I will list a few things that ARE advertised but don’t work as intended:1) My driveway camera gets plenty of hours of direct sunlight but only gains or loses 1-2% battery each day, depending on how sunny or overcast the day is. I have motion alerts enabled only for “Humans” and only trigger it a couple of times per day, but charging is still difficult. After a full charge (via USB) I had 20-30 kids on Halloween night, and the next day I had to get a ladder, remove the camera, and manually charge it using USB. I feel like there may be an issue with the driveway camera, because it doesn’t charge as well as the one that’s mounted on the side of my house (both get similar sunlight and get similar number of alerts each day) – UPDATE: AOSU Customer Service Reached out and replaced this camera. It seems to work well now!2) The “Motion Zone” feature works well most of the time. I created a motion zone slightly inside my property line and still got alerts for movement clearly outside of this zone. Headlights from a car driving may be enough to trigger the alert, if that light enters your zone. Sometimes even objects clearly outside of the zone will trigger an alert during a bright sunny day. This feature could use some tweaking over time, but overall I suggest outlining the motion zone a few feet inside your property line to avoid false alerts.3) Now I am using “Human Detection” mode only, on both cameras, since I want to limit the number of false alerts I receive, yet my side of house camera won’t set any alerts of people on my walkway. I guess it doesn’t like being mounted on the 2nd floor if I’m walking directly in front of it. This may be because of the height that it is mounted (approx. 20 ft).4) I contacted AOSU regarding my poorly charging driveway camera, for regular support, both using their website, and through Amazon, and they did not initially respond. UPDATE: AOSU reached out to me and worked through to help me find a solution, now I couldn’t be happier. They replaced the driveway camera for me and everything works as it should now in terms of charging. I am confident that if I ever have an issue with one of their products in the future, I will be taken care of. THANK YOU.

This AOSU wireless camera system is absolutely fantastic. It’s ideal for areas of your property where hard wiring a camera security system can be difficultand/or power outlet(s) are not available (for other systems that require a power source). For difficult areas such as that, a solar self powered camera system just makes sense.Plus, the setup is super easy as you can do everything yourself. The only tools you’ll need is a ladder and a power drill for the screws. In this kit there are two solar cameras with attached mounting brackets, main home base WiFi unit, USB-C charging cable, plug-in power adapter, Ethernet cable and owner’s manual with quick start guide. The cameras itself are unique as the solar plates are molded into the camera housing body. Each camera is comprised of two lenses and an infrared LED light, a status LED, center white LED spot, and a microphone. On the bottom of the camera body is a speaker that is aimed downwards and a power and reset buttons and USB-C ports hidden behind a rubber grommet. The base WiFi unit is meant to be placed next to the modem as it is required to be hard wired via Ethernet cable. The cameras support both 2.4 and 5G networks but on the back of the camera is states: “WiFi operating frequency Range 2412-2472MHz”The main unit has 32GB of storage and on the back of there is an Ethernet port, a USB-A port, reset button and power adapter plug in.The entire system was very easy to set-up and was up and running in less than an hour. There is an app download requirement of the Aosu App that can be downloaded via Google Play or Apple’s App Store.Once downloaded there’s a step by step process for pairing and modem connection. The app itself is super easy to use, very intuitive.Lots of settings to toggle through like motion detection, auto alarm, notifications, sleep, status lights and Alexa and Google Home, cloud, two way speaker mode, security zones, totally customizable to whatever you need.Best thing about this Aosu system is that it’s wireless and operates on WiFi with no monthly service fees whatsoever.
