    Reliable, effective, and affordable!
These were purchased to illuminate our driveway when we return home after dark. They were also intended to light up the area when motion is detected around the cars during the night.Installation was into brick on either side of the front of the garage. The lights include screws and anchors which meant I only needed a drill and masonry bit to complete the install. Each light requires 4 D batteries, and this added an addition $20 to the install. I was initially concerned this could get expensive over time, but it was 2 years before I needed to replace the batteries in the one of the two closer to the entrance of our home, which sees more traffic than the other. Very impressive! The motion sensors are a bit sensitive, but given their purpose, I’d rather this than the opposite. The illumination is more than ample to light our way and allow our wireless camera full visibility of any activity in the area. While these aren’t the prettiest light fixtures we’ve ever seen, they work great, last long, and after 2 years in operation have proven to be very reliable. Very much worth the money!

    Highly recommended!
Fantastic product! Exactly what I was expecting!I needed a light for my back patio where my small BBQ is, and I certainly didn’t want to do any electrical work. I screwed this product’s base into the side of my house, installed some batteries, and secured the spotlight to the mounting bracket. A minor adjustment to where the light was aimed and it is absolutely PERFECT for my needs!I took a photo in the dead of night showing how perfectly this product lights up my BBQ area, but since I’m editing this review it seems Amazon doesn’t allow me to add photos while editing. So if you’d like to see the picture, try this link (might have to copy/paste into your browser’s address bar): https://msl.ink/IPAUqPros:* Motion sensor is excellent – picks up movement everywhere I would expect and lights up. Hasn’t been triggered by branches or wind or anything like that* Brightness is fantastic for a battery powered light. Go LED!* Turns off pretty quickly after movement has stopped, which I think is great because it doesn’t waste any battery power* VERY easy to mount to wood siding or trim on outside of house/buildingCons:* Might be a bit difficult to mount in certain areas – for example on stucco walls, or brick/stone* The motion sensor is very sensitive, which may be inconvenient for some customers depending on their needs (I find it to be perfect)Summary:I strongly recommend this motion sensing LED light fixture if you need to add light to an area without having to run electrical wiring. You really can’t beat the amount of light and the ease of installation for the price. It’s just an excellent product all the way around. I’m not sure how it will hold up over the seasons, but I don’t see any reason it would stop working after a few years, especially since I have it installed under and eave of my roof.I’m looking for excuses to buy more of these. It’s just so much fun to be able to get outdoor motion-switched lighting wherever you want it.

    An actual, working solution!
When I bought my house a few years ago, my wife and I discovered that although the backyard floodlight was great – and the porch light at the front door worked well – the driveway was PITCH BLACK. Neither one of us had any desire to root around in a hot, insulation filled attic to run electrical wires – nor spend hundreds of dollars to get a electrician to do the same. So we have two of these, and two of the 100 lumen over-head Mr beams lights, running too.I’ve had many wireless lights before (always loved flashlights and gadgets) and they’ve all been mediocre or downright embarrassing. Mr. Beams are the only ones to actually put a real lumen count on – not just some subjective BS saying it is “superbright”Keep in mind a 90w flood will give you about 1000-1400 lumens – so these won’t replace a real hard-wired light at 300 lumens. They do perform MUCH better than other options, though. You will be amazed at how bright these actually are, and the batteries last damn near forever.I can say I’ve had various Mr Beams products in use since 2012 and I have been impressed with them. They have seen all types of weather, from -30F all the up to 110F. I’ve only replaced the batteries in my units ONCE in three years of use. The motion detection feature is accurate and snappy, very few false detections – and always turns off after a reasonable amount of time.Only once did I ever run into a problem with the 300 lumen one – apparently there was a bad run of them (some of them are still roaming around, which I got) that have a motion sensor failure issue, and a weather seal failure (It was collecting water in the white motion sensor area – damaging it) but amazon was incredibly fast with their exchange and I haven’t had a problem since.Previous to owning the 300 lumen one I’m reviewing, I had a number of the 150 lumen ones in my shed and facing my driveway. We also have the 100 lumen ceiling light ones, and the 40 lumen under-cabinet ones. All of them have performed much better than I expected – for a lot less than I would have thought.Overall, if you have an area you need light and it just isn’t practical to run permanent electrical wiring; you won’t find a better or more cost-effective solution than this.

Perfect lights for outside. They pick up movement well and the battery lasts a long time. We have two of these set up outside and they go off everyday when we walk by, and we still haven’t had to change their batteries in 3 years. They are easy to set up and provide lots of light.

Really easy to put together and it’s super bright. Takes batteries and seem to last a good amount of time as havent had to change them yet. Live in extreme weather often and has held up really well. It feels durable and the sensor works well when I walk up my drive. I have t wall mounted yet but it has the option to pivot the angle of the light which is good

A very strong beam which is highly effective.Easy to attach to outside wall.Recommended.

I have installed a number of Mr Beans lights in my garden and side pathway. I have those that light independently and those that are wirelessly linked. Superb product and excellent customer service. For guaranteed lighting where you need it without having to wire or rely on sunshine these are the lights to buy.
