Used for over a decade
After using my Bella Belgian Waffle maker for well over ten years, I bought one for my daughter. The strong design has remained essentially the same. It is sleek, efficient and works well. It makes wonderful waffles; from light to dark. The sensors takes all of the guess work out making waffles. Cleans up easily and stores easily as well. Most important; It makes perfect waffles and makes me look like a professional chef. I highly recommend.

Waffles in no time
Love the fact that it has such a small footprint. It easily fits on my counter yet makes full size Belgian waffles. You can select from light brown to almost burnt colored waffles. I made the first waffle without realizing I could change the setting and it was very pale and unappealing. The good news is I then re-read the instruction manual and noticed the statement that the first waffle should not be eaten so I threw it out and didn’t feel bad that I had messed up the settings.Every waffle after that came out a nice medium brown color and tasted great.

I recommend the similar Black & Decker instead
I have purchased both this (in stainless steel) and the BLACK+DECKER Flip Waffle Maker, WM1404S. Ultimately I recommend the Black & Decker one instead.Functionally, they work identically. They produce the same size waffles with the same pattern, the locking mechanism works basically the same, they both have the same folding handle, they both have a drip tray that can be slotted in vertically for convenience. I measured the temperatures and temperature evenness of the hot plates with an IR thermometer and they’re similarly identical — heating until 450°F, stopping heating until it goes down to 350°F, then turning heating back on until reaching 450°F. In fact, the two products are so similar that I have to assume they’re made in the same factory in China. And the one functional difference them *seem* to have actually isn’t — the temperature control on the Bella (which the B&D lacks) has no purpose. I mean, it works. But there is simply no situation when you’re making waffles where you don’t want the maximum heat, where you don’t want them to start out at 450°F. However light or dark you prefer your waffles should be determined exclusively by how long you leave them in. Lighter waffles should be done with less time, not a lower temperature. A lower temperature will only result in an undercooked interior. So the fact that the Bella has a temperature knob isn’t a pro in any way, but it is one more thing that can break — so it’s actually a con, albeit a small one. But, so why do I recommend the Black & Decker instead? Quite simply, it looks much better in the kitchen. The Bella is made of glossy-smooth stainless steel, and a glossy-smooth plastic support that looks flimsy. It just looks kind of… cheap. Whereas the Black & Decker is made of *brushed* stainless steel, and a *matte* plastic support that looks and feels far more substantial. If you have a modern kitchen, then your fridge/dishwasher/oven/toaster oven/etc. are probably all finished in *brushed* steel. So the Black & Decker just “fits in” nicely. Whereas the Bella just looks cheap and unattractive. Matte finishes are just more attractive than glossy ones, generally speaking. If you don’t care about looks, then just pick whichever one is cheaper — they will make identical waffles. But if you want this to look good in your kitchen, then I completely recommend the Black & Decker instead.

Easy to use
Very easy to use and clean. Recommend using waffle recipes and stuffing. Delicious and crispy and fluffy.

Great waffle maker
This waffle maker is excellent quality and makes better waffles than I could imagine. It rotates easily, is easy to clean, and the waffles do not stick to the waffle maker. The waffles are a perfect size. I also like that it tells you when the waffles are ready with the green light.

A breakfast treat
This small waffle maker is so easy to use and you can adjust the texture. I have always enjoyed these waffle makers at hotels, and now we can have one whenever we want. Easy to clean. Fun. Grandchildren love it!

Overall good deal
Quality isn’t exceptional however for the price point it’s what I would consider acceptable. We have used it a handful of times and so far we have no complaints. Heats up quickly and easy to clean. Produces about average thickness for Belgium waffles. Would give it 5 stars if the quality of build was a better.

Me encantó. La recomiendo ampliamente.

If you like frozen waffles, the BELLA Classic waffle maker makes much better waffles. My kids love pancakes, but now they want waffles instead. The BELLA Classic is the first waffle maker that I’ve owned and its a keeper. I used my standard thick pancake batter (3 cups flour) and added two tablespoons more oil and I was able to make perfect waffles on the first try. This machine warms up within two minutes and the waffles are done within 4 minutes. The waffles are thick and soft and slightly crisp on the outside. I don’t like crisp waffles and if you do, then this waffle maker will disappoint you.My only complaint is that the waffles aren’t browned that evenly, but its not that bad. I don’t see the point of spending double the money unless you want the type that can make two waffles at once.

Worst experience someone returned the used product and the sell haven’t seen it and it was with oil and food traces and smell

This is 110V not 220V, does not work in Germany!

This is the best waffle maker I have ever owned! The âreadyâ timer is not the most accurate in telling you when the waffle is ready so that is something that you have to figure out on your own over time, and you can leave it in longer when needed. The handle can be folded in for easier storage. Easy to clean.
