Buy an aftermarket microphone
I bought this and installed on my truck without issue and it is very loud but the microphone it comes with is very muffled. If you try to talk to someone through it, they would not understand you or just barely.The microphone has a 3.5mm input jack so I simply bought another walkie-talkie microphone with the same input jack and the sound is much better. So if you are thinking of returning this simply because your voice is muffled through the microphone, I highly recommend just buying another microphone and keep the system. Most of the systems on Amazon will come with the same cheap microphone so you will have similar issues.

Itâs so dang loud it scared the bejeezus out of me when I was testing it. It can be heard for blocks away. It is not a toy, this is just as loud as any police car. And so simple to hook up a teenager could do it.

The harness has issues.
The wire crimps in the harness are junk. Do your self a favor and unpin the connectors and solder them before you start. The unit its self is great.

Worked good for 2 months then the wiring came apart.
I loved this siren because it was cheap and easy to install only thing I donât enjoy about it now is that the wiring to the speaker has pulled out of the harness. I even went and bought extra wire to not put strain on the harness and it still came out. The mic could be better quality I bumped the mic with my leg a few times getting out of the truck and the mic ripped apart.

I did not get the speaker I expected speaker has no volume for 200 W amp this thing should be a hell of a lot louder I use this system as a funeral escort to get through the traffic to get my lights I must be heard and when my bike is in the middle of the intersection I don’t want to be hit again thank you
