    Perfect replacement for failing/defective (old) unit
    Have 5ea ISC-BPR2-W12 PIR Motion Detector installed and was getting false alerts on one of them. Moved the questionable unit to another room (traded with equivalent unit) and false alerts moved to the new location so then it was reasonable to assume this 8 year old ISC-BPR2-W12 PIR Motion Detector was the cause, as opposed to the wiring or control board or something else. Ordered this 2 pack and swapped out the bad unit (2 minute job, no configuration changes and definitely DIY) and life is good – no more false alarms.If you have aging motion sensors, these direct replacements are great in that you only need to turn the bottom flathead screw 90 degrees left, pull the old unit off slide in the new unit and you’re done. Simple small flathead is the only required tool.Highly recommended.

    Nice sensors
    I wasn’t all that happy with another popular brand, so replaced them with these and like them a lot better. These have a downward look capability that the others couldn’t do (you can disable it). They also came with decent mounting hardware, a level inside to help you mount them straight. They’re a bit more sensitive to motion at the distances I needed them for too. The biggest thing for me though was the motion light is blue instead of red (blue is cool). You can turn off the light too if you’re worried about seeming cool.

    These seem to work fine, but…
    The blue light they emit wakes me up too much. Had to cover it with white tape to dim it. And I bought four of them. The ones not in the bedroom are fine.
