Unexpectedly awesome
Love this thing! I made grilled cheese,eggs, and a bunch of other things. It cooks top and bottom pretty evenly which is great! Best part is how easy it is to clean! Bought one for my friend. Love the speed it cooks at as well.

Iâll be perfectly honest. I didnât expect much from this appliance. Like a lot of kitchen gizmos, I wouldnât have been surprised if after the first several uses, it was put on the shelf and never plugged in again. I would have been wrong!I already have at least four ways to cook a pizza, either made from scratch or from store-bought frozen, or simply reheating leftover pizza: A conventional gas oven, an electric countertop Smart Oven with a pizza stone, a large electric skillet with a glass lid, an electric convection oven with a pizza stone, and several brands of multi-functional air fryer/indoor grills. So this purchase was to just see how well the Chefman Pizza Maker thing workedâhopefully better than all those other devices. I was very skeptical.Not anymore! My first test was a frozen 12-inch Safeway Signature Thin Crust Supreme Pizza. I deviated from the box instructions by letting the pizza thaw to room temperature before cooking. I sprayed olive oil on the non-stick bottom plateâdo not use aerosol sprays, as the propellant can damage the non-stick surface!â, waited for the green light, then dropped in the pizza. 10 minutes later, there was a perfectly cooked pizza with a crunchy crust and lightly browned toppings; I could barely believe my own eyes. Boy, was it good!What? Youâre surprised a frozen Safeway Signature Thin Crust Pizza was good? Believe me, it was delicious! As for the Chefman, despite my pre-biased skepticism, it made a perfectly cooked pizza, rivaling, or besting, any of my other appliances. PLUS, nothing could have been easier and simpler. Plug it in, wait for the green light, drop in the pizza, cook for an appropriate amount of time, then enjoy! How can you beat that?Two thumbs up!

Very useful for more than pizza!
Very good for a variety of different things. I especially like it for cooking bacon and sausage, with the lid closed we donât get frying grease all over the kitchen. Plus you can cook fried eggs in the grease and not have to turn them. We tried the parchment paper and it had a nasty flavor to it and I didnât see any need for it.

Mediocre results
The pizza maker is somewhat difficult to use because when it’s hot, you can’t shape the dough. If you put the dough in while it’s cold, it rises too much. I tried shaping the dough on parchment and moving it over but then the crust doesn’t get crispy. If your crust is already baked, this works much better, but kind of obviates the need for it. Not as handy as I’d hoped.

Outside of unit gets extremely hot
Outside gets so scary hot you can barely touch to open. Once opened, lid folds all the way back so as to take all counter space. Does not have any heat controls, only a single light that lets you know when ready & supposedly when itâs done.

Je l’ai trouvé pratique pour des oeufs sur le plat et réchauffer des pizzas. Je ne l’ai pas encore essayé pour des omelettes et des crêpes, mais j’ai confiance qu’elles seront réussies. Je remarque toutefois des contradictions entre les instructions – qui disent de ne pas y faire cuire de steaks ni de bacon – et la vidéo de putlicité et les photos qui omontrent des steaks et du bacon!

It works fine but the lid is a little bit loose, it makes you feel a little uncomfortable when you use it…
