It does work as advertised
This product does, in fact, work as advertised but be sure you are buying for the right reason. It will cook your food, as promised, but it won’t necessarily do it an better than a small frying pan with a lid set on low heat on the stove. I cooked a small piece of raw meat and some left over spaghetti on the side next to the meat. The meat was thin and was frozen when I put it in. I topped the whole thing – meat and side of spaghetti – with chopped onions and some soy sauce after first adding a liberal amount of veg oil to the pan before adding the food. I closed the lid. About 7-8 minutes, I opened the lid and everything was cooked very nicely. It was browned on the bottom, not the top. The meal was delicious and the food was nicely seasoned. Everything was fine……………BUT I could have done the very same thing with a small frying pan and lid on the stove set to low heat. I could have also done the same thing on an electric frying pan set to low heat making sure to put a cover on the pan, in either case.Where it would be more useful than frying pan is in places where there is no stove but there is electricity such as a dorm room, a camper or RV, a hotel room, etc. This device would be more convenient than an electric hot plate in combo with a small frying pan and a lid. It would be more compact esp for traveling, less so for a dorm room with a permanent place for the hotplate. One other consideration is that it takes about 7-8 minutes to cook the meat and a side dish in portions which would be enough for one person – and not one person with a big appetite, either. For example it would not hold enough food for a teenager or a young adult male. Another consideration is that if a couple of any age wanted to take this devise along when camping or staying in a hotel room, they would probably need two of them. It takes 7-8 minutes to prepare meat and a side dish for one person. This food would get cold while waiting for the second round to cook food for the other person. If two people want to sit down to eat a meal at the same time, then they would need two of these items to take along.Bottom line is that it is way too small to use if one is going to cook food for two people. It is ideal for one person and the food is very delicious when it is done cooking. It is also not going to be able to cook enough food for one person if that person is either a teenager or else a young adult male. It can’t handle anything but small portions, at once time ,so please consider who is going to be eating the food. If you are going to be using it for two people or even one person with a hardy appetite, an electric frying pan with a glass cover would be a better option.

Very versatile
This little cooker is surprisingly useful. It fries eggs in 2 minutes and makes grilled cheese just as fast.I’ve done chicken breasts, hot dogs, bratwurst, hamburgers, and salmon and have enjoyed all.Two things to be wary of, hot steam venting and hot surfaces, the fact that the Dash has no on/off switch. It turns on when you plug it in and off when you unplug it.It takes a while to cool down too. It might have heating elements in both the base and lid as I don’t have to flip what I’m cooking. It’s much faster than going to fast food restaurants, and the nonstick surfaces wipe clean with a paper towel.Does take up much counter space, and stores easily. All things considered, this is one of my best purchases.I would highly recommend.

Heats up quickly, top and bottom!
I am SO pleased with this! I’ve made quesadillas perfectly browned top and bottom, I also make frozen breakfast sandwiches in it. If you’ve made breakfast sandwiches in the microwave, you know how unappealing they come out. Well, first I put them in this for 2-3minutes. Now that they’re totally crispy and crunchy, I THEN put them into the microwave to finish the insides for about 1 minute or so. You can do this in reverse. Yes, it takes a bit longer, but they taste as good as a McMuffin! Finally!Next, eggs! Put 2-4 eggs in, close it, they’ll come out Over easy, med, well, however you want them AND they’re not burnt or crispy. Add butter to the bottom for extra flavor, but NOT needed.Next, doggy bags! Hamburger with bacon. The bacon is always soggy the next day. Remove the bun carefully and put the burger in this. Nice and crispy bacon and a warmed up burger in just a couple minutes!Same for fried fish leftovers. This is THE most easy, economical, compact device that does So much!It DOES HEAT UP, TOP AND bottom simultaneously! And storage is so easy. I do wish there was an ON & OFF switch, and there is NO temperature control….BUT, the manufacturer description is SPOT ON accurate, so read before buying for any questions. It’s made for the perfect temperature for ANYTHING you want. Great size.Super easy cleanup and makes many things, use your imagination. Nice portable size. Not too small, the mini couldn’t do what this can do.

Fast an easy
This is another item I bought since I had a stroke. We got rid of our stove so I couldnât get my wheelchair in the kitchen. I have discovered these mini appliances and I got this grill along with a few of the others I have use this and make crapes Fried eggs for egg sandwiches and grilled cheese so far. You may have to turn the stuff over a little bit but it only takes a few seconds and I can actually do all this with one hand and their plants is so easy to clean. I can actually do all this on my own. I donât know who all they had in mind when they made these appliances but I think for some of the stroke patients theyâre very handy we have to be careful because they do get hot . However youâd have to do that even if you didnât have a stroke. Lol I have just ordered a mini muffin maker. Itâs been almost a year since Iâve been able to do cooking and I am so excited to have these appliances. I know the price that you can afford on a budget. I know some people donât like them but as for me I am very satisfied with the product so far and so happy that I have gotten them and Iâm able to use them. I am so thankful that I am still recovering and Iâm able to cook with these cute little appliances and that they really do work. Give them a try it cost less than going out for dinner or a movie

Easy as pie
Works like a dream, easy to clean, easy to make a cheesy snack or warm up the many flat bread items Trader Joe sells like the Indian flat bread or the scallion pancake. Our gas bill has gone down since we started using this handy kitchen tool to make dinner.

I bought this little skillet because I had an omelette maker that made half moons and I gave it away as I wanted my brother to try it and he loves it. I figured I would try this one to make a round omelette and it works really well! I find the skillet heats up very quickly and the omelettes are a perfect personal size. I tried cooking bacon on it and it did a great job and quick. So far, Iâm loving this skillet. The cleaning is quick and little mess. I recommend this for someone who is looking for a quick clean up, quick cooking surface.
