Chopped pounds and pounds of onions effortlessly, quickly, and with nary a tear!
We had to chop pounds and pounds of onions to help make vats of soup for a soup sale. My husband thought I was nuts for volunteering us for this job but that is because he did not know what I knew, which was that I’d seen this chopper recommended on several cooking videos and was just looking for a reason to purchase it for our home and this was just the reason I needed! The chopper arrived quickly, as promised, and as fast as I peeled the onions, he chopped them! In fact, he had to wait for me to finish peeling the onion a few times. He really LOVES using this chopper and now looks for recipes that call for chopped vegetables and fruits. He has taken over the cooking the last few years now that I am not well and for the first time, he is smiling as he preps the foods….guys and their gadgets, huh? This chopper does all sorts of chopping, dicing and slicing in various sizes and shapes and does it very well. Clean up is easy, too, because it can be put in dishwasher. Of course, the reason it does such a great job is because the blades are precise and sharp so be smart and be careful when using this chopper to ensure that you are only chopping food and not your fingers! We are both very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

A very good product
I already own one of these vegetable processors and its a wonderful addition to my kitchen. Easy to use and easy to clean. The drawer is removable for easy dispensing of the cut veggies.

This product was easier to use than expected, based on some of the other reviews. Overall I like it. The blades are sharp. Does it actually save time in the kitchen? Probably not, but I do like how everything is contained and clean up is relatively easy. As far as choppers go, you could do way worse.

I have only used the chopper and the slicer so far. The chopper works great and very easy to clean. I like the attachment you put on the top of your potato or carrot so you donât get your fingers close to the slicer.

This has turned out to be one of the most used and convenient kitchen tools I use on almost a daily basis. It significantly cuts down prep time and cleans up like a breeze. Plus, the attachments conveniently store inside the product. Don’t hesitate…this is the product you didn’t know you needed!

I had one of these years ago when they were first selling them on TV and they were much less sturdy. This one is very well built. Its biggest problem is trying to be everything for everybody. I tried to use the egg and soft food slicer to slice a button mushroom, which it should have been able to do. Unfortunately, when I pressed the wires down on the mushroom, the slicer came apart at the hinge and did not want to be put back together. I’ve had $.99 slicers do better. A much better solution would be an insert with blades for slicing like the ones for dicing.The mandolin addition is interesting, especially with the juliene and grating inserts. As for the juicer, it makes storage bulky and really doesn’t belong with this unit. People who use juicers don’t do it by hand anymore.Overall, the unit is worth the money. The storage tray is nice and keeps the blade units and accessories well organized. Unfortunately, there is not a way to keep the main unit, the mandolin top and the storage tray all together so that they take up less shelf space. As a result, they end up being side by side, needing about 12 inches total.UPDATE: if a company read my review and decided that I was having too many problems with the machine. They emailed me very very politely apologizing for my problems and thanking me for my insight and offered me a complete refund without even asking for the machine to be returned. I was astonished. I have never had a company do anything like that. I think this shows just how much they do care about their customers which unfortunately is unusual in today’s market. I think if you will stay with the basic version of the item and not try to get something that’s going to do everything you’ll be very happy with it and have a beautiful functional item for your kitchen.

A lot of prep time is saved by using this wonderful tool. Onion, peppers and all of the softer veggies are quickly diced with nice clean edges. The mandolin is the best I have owned. The harder veg are not easily diced, but the mandolin does slices quickly and easily.I am really happy with this tool.Prep is made easy and quick.My hands don’t get sore from arthritis with this tool.It was purchased and delivered on time, and intact through Amazon.Thank you all.
