4G Smart Wireless Solar Camera
I have 9 Hiseeu cameras doing security around my home, all are Wi-Fi, 6 are powered by home electricity, 3 are solar.1. Setting up was easy. The one thing I have learned is when you initially charge a battery/solar camera for 10 hours, be sure the power supply you use is a 5-volt supply. If you use a regular camera power supply, 12 volts, you can damage the charging circuit.2. As with all Hiseeu camera systems, the quality of the cameras and accessories is great.3. The picture quality is great and while the set up with ESEE Cloud went smoothly. Since this 4G Smart Wireless Solar Camera is the fourth solar powered camera that I use. I am not sure what the market is for a 4G sim card camera. Using this camera for security is like paying for another cell service phone per camera. If you are a hunter and have a wild animal feeder in the middle of a pasture and want to monitor the wild animal movement this would be perfect.Mike

Feature packed, great value, 4G camera
I absolutely love this camera (and I’ve tried a lot of them). We are off-grid and needed a security camera that didn’t require WiFi. PROS: picture clarity, ability to rotate camera through app, continuous recording with micro-sd card, auto-follow movement & great battery life with use of both solar panels. Seems to work well in cold weather. CONS: the detection range could be a little better and the app is a bit slow to respond sometimes. But for the price this camera can’t be beat!

I purchased the camera over the weekend and installed it yesterday. I like the quality of the image, motion detection and performance. Additionally, I like the fact that it was easy to set up. I also liked how the company returned my call in a timely manner and assisted me with my issues.Update:Iâm back with an update ten days later. Do NOT purchase this device. It is a waste of money. I installed the camera on June 10th and by today, June 20th, it stopped working properly. I can not see any live feed because the SIM card is âfullâ even though per the product details the device is supposed to come with a free 30 day trial. When I called customer service, the representative was not helpful. This by far has been the worst purchase and a waste of my time and money.

I was skeptical in purchasing a solar 4G security camera. But after installation and playing around with app settings, it is very easy to understand and maneuver around the app. The pairing with phone app and camera was very simple and straightforward. I would really recommend this type of hiseeu 4G solar security camera.

Security from a distance!
We purchased four of these cameras to help monitor our homestead and livestock while weâre away. The cameras are located on our property approximately a quarter mile from each other. We chose to use the 4G option and connected it with our Verizon phones because living in a rural area Good Wi-Fi is unavailable. Weâve had no problems with the batteries all have stayed charged and have only lost connection once or twice during rainstorms. The original free 30 days Of monitoring was enough for us to see the value in These cameras. When the 30 days was up, I had to contact customer service because I didnât realize I had to purchase additional plans for each camera. The great customer service representatives helped me to purchase a shared Plan which was less than individual plans. We can view day or night and see everything clearly with 24 seven remote access even up to 50 miles away But thatâs as far as weâve gone. The cameras were easy to install and easy to set up and provide us with the security that we need to monitor our homestead and livestock. Weâre going into our second month of using them and have had no complaints as of yet. The settings can be adjusted from high sensitivity to low sensitivity. We found the high sensitivity was too much because it said off the trees blowing in the wind. You can also put the settings to focus on human form, as well as animals and can block out certain areas that you donât want monitored. We highly recommend this product!

Great camera
I am pleasantly surprised. I live in Portland Oregon, above the 45th parallel. We are approaching the longest nights of the winter, so we have little daylight. The solar cells charge the battery enough in the daytime to run all night. The surveillance images are as good as any other camera system I have seen. I use the Eseecloud app and do not need the 4G for it.

Cam Works Well-Sim Cost is a Ripoff-No Pause Setting
Cam in slightly remote location worked well to monitor RV entrance.However there is no way to pause the alarm and bandwidth use for every time I come to the door or drive up without 5 or 6 steps to basically turn it off.The SIM cost and bandwidth that you lose if you do not use it is a ripoff and a racket. The bandwidth available is limited by the SIM and it EXPIRES EVERY MONTH WHETHER YOU USE IT OR NOT and YOU MUST RENEW $ on the SIM every month if you want it to work, EVEN THOUGH YOU DID NOT USE THE ALLOTTED BANDWIDTH.It’s like paying for another cell phone!!!!!!!!!THE UNUSED BANDWIDTH for people like me THAT CONSERVE IT SHOULD ROLLOVER INTO THE NEXT MONTH and ONLY REQUIRE RENEWAL ONCE CONSUMED!

I have been looking for a 4G cellular security camera on our remote property which has no WIFI or power access, and this Hiseeu security camera appears to perfectly meet my needs. I was initially very skeptical about its capacity and performance based on the existing reviews, and particularly I am in Canada and the 4G service providers mentioned in its listing are all in US, however I decided to give it a try, and I am very happy now I did!It came promptly in a very plain package not as luxury or professional as those from some other bigger brands I have used – no big deal. Upon unboxing, the 4G SIM card and 64G memory card are all pre-installed into the camera. As instructed, I charged the camera first for 10 hours until the green light turned off, then turned its power on – It did not work initially with the voice error message: “The network connection is not available at your location” – well, this was my biggest fears come true. So I looked through its package and found the SIM card provider’s contact info, and luckily got hold of its customer support online – It turned out that the attached SIM card was still in US setting but not properly configured for Canada. After the service location was updated by its SIM card support, I turned the camera back on and reconnect – It worked!!!It is worth mentioning that several inconsistent descriptions in its product listing – Although its product description mentioned that it “only” works with the provided SIM card, it actually works perfectly my own SIM card from Rogers/FIDO, I assume it should work for other 4G cellular service providers in Canada as well though I haven’t tried these others – This is a big plus for users to have the flexibility to manage their data cost without sticking to the provided SIM card. Also as expected, 4G based services, though make the security camera so portable, do come with regular data cost compared to those using WIFI, so best fits for those looking for a security camera on the go, or use it for remote area like mine where WIFI or power source are not available.The camera itself is very decent – its 2K video quality is impressive, capturing clear images day and night with its spotlight-enhanced night vision. I love the 360° PTZ feature, which allows me to cover a wide area. Its PIR detection is almost spot-on, sending instant notifications of any detected movement, and its two-way talk function has been handy for communicating with people coming by. Haven’t used this camera for long but so far overall it is decent by providing excellent security for off-grid locations – Deducting 1 star only for its inconsistent product description in its listing and missed SIM Card configuration for Canadian market.

This security camera has given me the biggest headache of my life. After two weeks of back and forth with the sim card customer service, they sent me a new card that works in Canada (the included one is for US only). Once the new card arrived, I had to contact customer service to have the data plan switched over to the new card, and I got a total run around saying that only certain reps could do that and that they don’t work weekends. Finally, very firmly, I said that this was unacceptable and that this needed to be resolved now – low and behold, the lowly customer service rep switched the data plan over.After all the work just to get a working sim card, I put the new card in the camera, turned it on and got the same notification as before “no networks within range”. I rebooted the camera, tried again, still nothing. Walked away from it for a few hours (before I smashed it), tried again, still nothing. At this point I gave up. Two weeks of trying to get the camera to work, what a waste of time.The app “Essecloud” is the same app I use for my house security system, so I was very aware how to work that. Without the network, the app can’t connect to the camera.I will say that the camera appears to be a solidly built unit and the two solar panels would give good battery charge, however I can’t tell you if the camera even takes good video.The long and short of it is this. Don’t Buy This Camera. Unless you want to waste your time and then by all means, go ahead. If I could give this -5 stars, I would.

It’s also solar powered so you won’t have to recharge it yourself as long as it gets enough sun during day time. Built-in SD card of 64GB and being wireless it can be mount anywhere.
