Keeps the pigeons away!
This was the fifth thing I tried to keep pigeons away from my pool and spa. The pre-recorded sounds are a bit obnoxious for my use so I used the custom recording option to record a loud hand-clapping sound. This was a bit tricky since you have to hold down the record button while recording, but that is what toes are for. Haven’t seen a pigeon near the pool in a week and no longer have to clean up after them. Well worth the money for this device. Thank you HULPRE!

It works!
I bought this to possibly scare off potential predators at my mother’s house who were eating the cats in the yard. It seems to have worked. I brought it to my house to put it on the porch to scare off possums or dogs or what not to keep them from eating the cat food and making a mess on the porch. I’ve charged it once it’s been out for like 3 or 4 weeks and it is still going strong. The solar power recharging is actually working pretty good. I just get tickled at the different sounds it make. Sometimes it makes you think of an AC/DC song.

Does not work for cats
I bought this to stop my cat from jumping on counter. It is very loud with flashing lights, however, my cat thought all the noise and flashing lights was interesting and wanted to play with the device. For me this was a waste of money

Mechanically works as described
Works as advertised. Nice feature to be able to change the sounds/ alarms. Solar power feature is great too – one of the key features for which it was purchased. Also action only at night is good – for example, ours is next to a driveway so you wouldn’t want it going off for all daytime activities. Didn’t give it 5 stars because we got it to keep deer away from a planting area. The deer don’t give a darn. I have looked out at night and seen deer standing and munching next to the planting area while the alarms and lights are banging and flashing away at their feet. Summary, the product “works”, but it may not keep away the yard pests one is targeting.

Saved My Birds
These things have been a life saver, literally. I kept having fox attacks killing chickens and ducks every day. I installed these all around the areas where they sleep, and haven’t had a direct attack since. A couple of birds have been killed, but they had wandered off to unprotected areas. The latest version finally has a setting to turn on automatically at dark. That was a huge update. I have looked for any means of protecting my flock for a long time. Spent plenty of time and money on various possible solutions. This is by far the best, especially for the price. Highly recommend.

Needs a volume control.
The product does indeed work but it could be much improved with a volume modulator. Also, some of the sound selections are ridiculous like explosions and automatic gunfire, but having left out the most realistic alarm option noise – that being barking dogs. The remote control is a nice feature but it won’t turn the device on – only off.

Geese are gone!!
Placed this product on a small sand beach on our pond, to deter geese from gathering and pooping in the sand. (one goose can poop up to 2 lbs. of poop a day – fyi). So far, we’ve used the “barking dog/gunshot” sound, and the geese have not stepped foot on the beach for almost 2 weeks now. If they get used to this sound, we’ll try the screaming eagle next!! I wish I would have ordered this sooner – working great for our purpose, so far! Worth 3 times the price to me!

I have a bunch of raccoons that were using the side of my house as their personal toilet. I tried almost every solution. Hot pepper, peppermint, spikes, and even Coyote pee. So I decided to try this motion detector as one of my final options. To my surprise it is working well. I like the custom recording since I can record my own sound deterrent. I didn’t really want gun shots in the dog barking sound. So I played 3 YouTube videos simultaneously for my custom recording. Dog barking, falling pots and pans, and a high pitch annoying sound. It seems to work well to scare and annoy the raccoons so far. Want I like most about this device is it has a 360 degree detection zone. So I can place in a spot without needing to point or guess where the racoons are coming from. So far only tested for two nights but scared away raccoons in 6 sightings so far. Product is very well built and seems to be loud enough. TIP. When doing custom recording from audio or YouTube, max the audio coming from the speakers and place the mic of the device right next to the speakers. Mic isn’t that sensitive however if you use this tip, the custom recording will be louder than the default sounds.

I bought this on August 2 2024. On Oct 11 item stopped working. The remote will not work, the item doesn’t charge anymore, worst money I spent in my life. Do Not buy its just junk. I will never trust this company again for the junk they sell at a high price. wasted $100 on two of them and they both didn’t even work after about three months this is only cheap junk at a high price

Seems to work well on the geese we had in the field. It’s programed with enough different sounds that most animals won’t get used to it and become comfortable like they will with a single noise deterrent. Would recommend

We bought this to protect our layers from hungry raptors, but find it’s not nearly loud enough. I can see why this might be necessary in urban areas, but we have acreage with distant neighbors. This is hard to hear from our own home.
