Iâve been using the ieGeek Solar Security Camera for a while now, and itâs been a fantastic addition to my home security. The all-in-one design makes installation super easyâno need for extra cables, and the integrated solar panel keeps it running without interruptions. Even on cloudy days, the built-in battery lasts without a hitch. The 2K full-color video quality is excellent, and it captures clear footage even at night. I also love the AI motion detectionâit sends accurate alerts and can tell the difference between people, pets, and cars, which has cut down on false alarms. Easy setup, great video and audio, fully featured
I use ieGeek cameras to monitor my outdoor chickens. This new camera has a super-simple setup wizard; I had it charged and connected to my wifi in minutes. The picture quality is great. A new feature on this camera is the ability to use a spotlight to have color pictures when it’s dark. This is especially useful to tell the chickens apart! The small solar panel keeps the camera charged and functional even across several days of cloudy/wet weather. I don’t use the motion alerts, but did test them out and they worked well. I hoped the new anti-flicker frequency setting (50Hz / 60Hz) would allow the camera to visualize the small LED lights on an appliance in my crawlspace (so I don’t have to go down there to diagnose problems) but it didn’t do that. I haven’t yet found any camera that works for those lights. However, this camera worked well at visualizing my laptop screen, without any flickering (which is actually the purpose of this setting, I believe). Overall, this is a great new camera. I have also found this company very responsive and helpful with questions about their products.

Easy set-up & great value surveillance cam!
The ieGeek Security Cameras Wireless Outdoor, 2K 2.4G WiFi Camera with Solar Panel and Battery is simple to mount, easily installed with the ieGeek Android app, and easily configured to capture great-quality surveillance videos. Just love this camera – so far Iâm quite pleased with the way the camera is operating. The camera is very good and I would definitely recommend it to others, esp as a starter security camera!> Picture quality: for the price you cannot beat the picture clarity & brightness and it does the job quite well.> Size: very compact , not overly sized ⦠I have it mounted so I get a 180 degree view around the walk up to the patio door of my home.> Brightness: the brightness is good. I love the alarm feature set at night which can actually be set 24/7 or individual time periods. The LED light on the camera is very bright, and when the LED is on, the camera turns back to color vision.> Settings & setup: Settings are intuitive to navigate and achieve your desired operation, including recording only humans walking across the camera’s field of view – a really nice feature. Setup was extremely easy… taking a picture of the QR code allows set up to be a breeze.> SUMMARY: I would definitely recommend this ieGeek surveillance camera as being 5 out of 5, esp at this price point!

Impressive video night or day
This camera is so easy to setup and install, took about a minute to setup and about 3 minutes to mount on the house. Incredible daytime and nighttime alerts and very impressive color night photos and video. It holds up to 128 mg Micro SD card which is plenty of storage. Also, the solar panel included is a great addition to allow 24 by 7 functionality, never having to plug this camera in is a real bonus. I highly recommend this excellent outdoor solar camera.

Affordable and full of features !!!
I got this camera because of the 2K resolution and the fact that this came offers color night vision. The camera is priced under Fifty dollars and offers color night vision, Pan-Tilt-zoom , solar charging and excellent notification. I do wish it came with the micro SD card included. That was a disappointment. The setup process was pretty straight forward. The manual does a great job of providing step by step instructions to set it up and even tells you if your placement has good connectivity (during setup). Aside from the micro SD card everything you need to install is supplied.Once I had it added to the app, I was elated to see all the features that are incorporated. You can customize the motion detection, turn on/off a siren, light up the area, turn on audio warnings and strobe lights and even run the camera in full color mode. Not to mention the fact that this camera integrates into my Alexa landscape and supports two-way audio. With the Pan-Tilt-Zoom feature I can change the focus point for the camera and zoom in on specific spots. This camera had everything I need and does a good job at night !!!Note: The review pictures show daytime, night time and nighttime (color mode)
