Amazing, useful kitchen tool
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and it is amazing for people who love to cook. We shred our own cheese a lot and this has been a GAME CHANGER. So easy to attach to your kitchen aid and operate the shredder. It has saved so many cuts from using a hand held grater. We also use it for potatoes when making hashbrowns. You get three inside attachments for shredding sizes. Very easy to take apart and clean. Truly love this item.I was mistakenly sent the wrong item when I ordered originally and it was quickly re-ordered and I was shipped the right item. I know it was busy during holiday season when I ordered so I appreciate the quickness in customer support from Amazon for the wrong item shipped.

This is one of my favorite KitchenAid attachments! Iâve always used a handheld shredder and dreaded using it, but love a fresh block of cheese. I then got a nicer handheld shredder and ended up cutting myself because it was so sharp. It was a no brainer when I got a Kitchen Aid mixer that I had to get this attachment. It makes shredding the quickest 10 minutes ever! The only drawback is when shredding hard cheeses like Parmesan, it doesnât shred the tail end of it but I just hand cut this at the end. It takes seconds to attach and most of the parts are dishwasher safe which makes cleanup a breeze. I almost never purchase shredded cheese from the store anymore. The medium size shredder also works well with zucchini.

I like it that it comes with a useful storage box for the other blades and the whole piece when not needed. It is easy to install, use, clean and exchange the blades. The only thing why I gave one star less is because it is not all stainless steel. There were others that were like the kitchen aid that were all stainless steel but I wanted to stick with the name brand that was kitchen aid approved.

The weight of this product is great. The sharpness of the blades is outstanding. Itâs fun to use and makes prepping for dinner and any meal and ease. The value for the money is outstanding it speeds up the process. If youâre in the market are looking for something like this I highly recommend.

I love this so much! So far, I have only used the shredder for cheese. But it is so easy, that I might even throw out my grater.The only downside is cleaning. While the pieces are dishwasher safe, the housing is hand wash only. Not a dealbreaker, but very annoying.

I bought one of those counter top models, and while it worked as designed, it still had flaws (most notably, finding a bowl that fit under the spout). I found this attachment to my kitchen aid and I couldn’t be more thrilled with it. The directions say to use the #4 speed; I find that unnecessary not to mention a bit clumsy … #2 speed is just fine. The grater works fast and predictably. If I could suggest a single improvement, it would be to close the feeder tube sides … the opening allows water to get in when washing, and it doesn’t dry easily or without spots. But that’s just a minor irritation for me, not at all any reason not to buy. Can happily recommend!

These attachments have been a huge time saver. They work really well, even on softer cheeses (though popping softer cheese in the freezer for 15-20 or so minutes make grating much easier and less messy). Makes excellent hash browns and much faster and better than a box grater. All of these attachments have handled everything we’ve thrown at them with excellent results. The box they come in is somewhat large and awkward so you may need to store them out of the box if you’re short on space, but that shouldn’t be a deal breaker. Clean up is quick and easy – much easier than cleaning a box grater. I have been a chef for almost 35 years and am currently a private chef. I use these nearly everyday both with my client and in my own home. I think they’re worth every penny.

Gestern geliefert, bei gut einer Woche Lieferzeit aus den USA.Ausgepackt, geprüft und gereinigt und natürlich sofort getestet.Ich kann nur sagen TOP!Ich habe Möhren mit der groben Raspel gemacht, sehr gutes Ergebnis. Gurke in Scheiben und geraspelt, sehr gutes Ergebnis. Stangensellerie mit der groben Raspel, gutes Ergebnis.Die zwischen Trommel und Gehäuse verbleibenden Reste sind bauartbedingt und ich sehe das nicht als Problem, die Schnipsel werden einfach genascht.Einziges Manko…. das geraspelte oder geschnittene Gut fällt nicht aus der Trommel und muss mit der Hand herausgeholt werden, sonst verstopft die Geschichte leider.Die Reinigung gestaltet sich absolut kinderleicht.Reste oder besser die hier sehr oft beschriebenen Verfärbungen lassen sich mit einem Blatt Küchentuch und ein paar Tropfen Speiseöl ohne jeden Kraftaufwand problemlos beseitigen.Das Ding ist spitze und wertet die Kitty nochmal richtig auf ðWie immer gnadenlos überteuert, aber top Qualität, klare Kaufempfehlung.
