Doesnt work
So it turns on as soon as it senses motion like its supposed to do but then it just stays on and doesnt turn off until you manually turn it off

Dusk To Dawn
This is such a neat way to turn your lighting into a motion sensor light! Just twist this into the light socket and voila it is now a motion sensor light. I noticed that if the room was not completely dark or blacked out it wouldn’t work due to the sensor still seeing light. However, in my garage and shed it worked superbly. In my living room Inhave it installed on a living room lamp and it sensed me walking in from about 12ft away. I don’t know if it works through walls as we didn’t test that, but it saw me through a our guest-room window and the light turned on next to the bed and that would about 15ft away. All in all we are super happy with these.

GARBAGE ! ! !
IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BUY THESE, IT WOULD BE BETTER TO GO INTO YOUR BATHROOM AND THROW YOUR MONEY INTO THE TOILET AND THEN FLUSH. IT WOULD BE THE SAME AS BUYING THESE.

Poor Performance and Design
I had high hopes for the Lightstar Motion Sensor Light Socket, but it didn’t live up to expectations. The immediate frustration was with the flawed design in the center contact. The threads are set too deep, and the adapter would not work until I manually adjusted the center contact to raise it. For something marketed as easy to install, this was a disappointing start and added unnecessary effort. The motion detection proves equally underwhelming. While the product boasts a 12-foot range and the ability to penetrate barriers such as walls, I found that it didn’t work through walls at all. The actual detection range seemed closer to 4 feet, which is far less than what was advertised. More often than not, I had to be standing directly under the light, waving my hand several times before the sensor finally responded. This defeats the entire purpose of having a motion-activated light in an area like a garage or a basement where hands-free might be necessary.Even when the motion sensor does work, it is not very reliable. The shut-off timer is inconsistent: sometimes the lights turn off after 35 seconds, while other times they stay on far longer. This erratic behavior makes the energy-efficient feature feel unreliable, which was one of the main reasons I purchased this product. While the idea of a radar-based motion sensor is intriguing, the execution here is poor. From the flawed socket design to the limited range of motion detection, inconsistent performance-this product just doesn’t live up to expectations.

I really wanted to like this thing
I canât say definitively that it doesnât work, since I have had the light come on for me occasionally. Actually what it seems to do is simply stay on all the time.We do have a large and active household, but itâs in the stairway, which only gets a little traffic, but in the couple of weeks Iâve had the motion detector installed, Iâve had the light go off after a while a couple times. Usually it just stays on.I mean, Iâd rather it stay on than stay off, but I got it to save electricity, but itâs mostly just staying on all the time.

Dusk to dawn motion sensor light socket
This is an easy way to turn any light socket into a dusk-to-dawn motion sensor light socket. The light won’t turn on when there is sufficient surrounding light. The motion sensor seems omnidirectional and works through the wall, albeit with reduced range. I put it on a pole light about 6.5 ft high with the light bulb pointing up. When I walk up to it, the light turns on from 15 feet away.
