Outstanding book!
What a way to form a new series. Logan was a Navy Seal who is no longer active duty but still serves his country in doing search and rescue as well as odd jobs for DHS. He is approached by Mace and Jack as to the need for LSI Montana was exceptional. The description of the light towers used as beacons for pilots over the mountains were similar to lighthouses used for boats along the coastlines was realistic and believable. The team comes together through recruitment, interviews and recommendations. The teamâs first assignment is a terrorist cell in Alaska possibly making biological weapons. Logan takes the job and goes with his team as support. Vivian is the microbiologist assigned to assist him. Logan and Vivian are at odds till they are not. There is danger, intrigue and suspense. As Vivian described thin ice as being alone on a pond of ice and not knowing how thick the ice was and that there was safety in having a partner. Will they get their happy ever after in life or are they on thin ice? Great interaction with the new team as well as LSI and Saints. Looking forward to seeing more from LSI Montana! Another outstanding book Maryann Jordan! 5+ stars.

Another good story.
Ms. Jordan comes through once again with a beautifully written love story. The stories she tells are similar in some ways and totally different in others. The characters are so real and you feel like you right there by their sides taking it all in. I look forward to to learning about all the men in the Montana LSI group.

This is Maryann Jordanâs first book in the Lighthouse Security Investigations Montana. A very compelling story about an exSEAL. Due to injury Logan had to retire from his SEAL team.He was living a solitary life in Montana as a helicopter pilot doing mundane tours and some rescues. Logan was approached by Mace, owner and leader of Lighthouse Security in Maine, to become the boss/leader of his own group in Montana. He accepted the challenge snd began to build his team. For his first mission as this new leader he needed the help of a biologist who he assumed would be a man.They lived together, worked wrll together and, against all odds, fell in love. They learned all they needed to know about the terrorists next door. Vivian was not comprehending how dangerous their situation was. To keep Viv safe and convincing her the job was complete, Logan attempted to end their relationship.She left their residence but not the area and ended up getting herself in trouble. After the mission with the terrorists was resolved he convinced Viv to go home to California. Both were heartbroken but had no conversation about it. He returns to Montana and she went to California. Do they eventually find their way back to each other? Read this exciting book to see if all works out for Logan and Viv.

Great book!
I totally loved this book! It’s beautifully written and full of real emotions and feelings. It has plenty of exciting, intense parts with action, mystery and suspense. The characters have some amazing chemistry between them and grows into a beautiful love story. I totally recommend reading this book!!

Fantastic read, fantastic start to a new Lighthouse Security Investigations series located, this time, in Montanaâ¦â¦yup, land locked Montana ( to be explained in the story. Lots of twists, turns, and surprises, including a romance thatâs hot, hot, hot.Very highly recommend.

Great forced proximity story
Logan is supposed to work with a biologist from the government when he goes to Alaska to figure out what kind of biological warfare the terrorists are making. Logan’s mistake was assuming the biologist was a man. Vivian has never been on an assignment like this and doesn’t comprehend the fact that these terrorists are going to use whatever they are making to kill or make really sick many people. She assumes that once they figure it out, Logan will just turn over everything to the proper government officials but in reality he is going to terminate them so they can’t do any more harm m anywhere. But will they attraction and feeling for each other get in that way of what they were sent to do? After Logan pushes her away, can he convince her to give them another chance after the assignment is complete?

Great start to a new Lighthouse security series. Logan is opening up a Montana branch and his first assignment is in Alaska. He meets Vivian a biologist who he teams up with to stop a terrorist group planning a bio attack. Lots of twists in this one and you meet the new team!

Loved how Logan was approached to set up a new Lighthouse security in Montana. The dynamic between Logan and Viviane was page burning. I cannot say enough about Maryannâs âpeopleâ in her series continues to grab you and never lets go until the last page!

This is the first story in the latest series from Maryann Jordans Lighthouse Security world.This time we are in Montana and visiting Logan who had cameos on a couple of Maryanns earlier books, most notable of these was Thin Ice. Which has now been reworked for this book.What an inspired move that was! This time we have a good explanation of how Logan was headhunted to head up this latest LSI group. And the beginning of the team was measured and believably grown.But while I really enjoyed the start things got going this book had me hooked. Logan and Vivian had a shaky start all due to being very different. But they feel me their way into a strong team. And with the help of the other keepers from LSI Montana they take in a terrorist cell determined to cause havoc and disaster.Along the way feelings and connection greeted between them.There was misunderstanding, drama, danger and romance and a satisfying resolution. I loved it!

Superb start to a new sub-series from Maryann Jordan, great to see some old friends and with a great welcome to many new characters whose stories are yet to come. Logan and Vivian are complete opposites in most ways but somehow they mesh perfectly. The characters are sensitively written and the suspense part well researched as always. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

A fantastic start to a new set of Lighthouse books. Logan and Vivian’s story I’d an excellent read. They need to overcome the threat of biological warfare terrorists to find their happy ever after. Looking forward to future Lighthouse security Montana books. This is the first book in this series and can be read as a stand alone.
