Powerful personal blender
Bought as a gift for a very fickle husband who was drinking protein shakes as part of his marathon training. He’d been using the metal spirals in a shaker cup and drinking lumpy, powdery shakes, not enjoyable. We have a Ninja Twisti, but he felt using that and the clean up was too much effort in the morning. He also hates accumulating gadgets, so this felt a risky purchase. Thankfully after a week of use, he was thrilled with it, his drinks taste great though he is still finding the powder gets stuck to the sides and ingredients have to be added in a specific order to reduce that.He started drinking twice as many protein shakes, and, in between, having iced drinks in it. He was quite frustrated that it doesn’t charge itself (!), but he gets a around a week’s worth of daily drinks between charges (and now remembers to charge it!). It’s easy to clean and compact. I did think he would take it to work to have his drinks there, but he says it’s too noisy to use in the office and it doesn’t have anywhere to store powder like the plastic cups do.Now his training has stopped, he’s not using it so much, but I think it’s only a matter of time before our teenager purloins it for their milkshakes and cocoas… Ninja is a very reliable brand, this is my third Ninja product (Twist, airfryer) and I continue to recommend them.

Another Great Ninja Product! Works great
I love the light green color of this product that I chose for myself, & I also bought a black/grey one for a family member, & they love it too! It is quite noisy, but it’s a fancy ‘personal blender’, so I expected noise. It does a Wonderful, Perfect job on Smoothie, Crush, or Blend modes. It’s another amazingly useful product from Ninja. The initial charging took approximately 3 1/2 hours, & I’ve used it once every day for over 2 weeks, & still haven’t had to recharge it. It’s very simple to clean. I just shake some hot soap water in it, & use a little toothbrush if needed. It’s an expensive item, but I got it on sale thankfully. I do wish that a recipe/idea booklet would’ve come with it, but the Internet is full of smoothie ideas ð I do recommend this.

Nice portable blender
Have had mixed smoothies, protien shakes, milkshakes. All with shaved/crushed ice. Would not recommend large ice cubes or even medium size. Tends to have an issue with anything larger tham small cubes. My go-to shake is so simple: 6oz fat free milk, half scoop vanilla protien powder, orange fat free sherbet to just below the “max” line, topped off with crushed ice to just above the max line, and select “crush”. Fantastic orange creamsicle smoothie! Cleanup is a breeze. 8oz warm water with a drop or two of dish detergent, select ‘blend’, rinse out with warm water. Take to work, or bike trip, anywhere around house, good to go. Only 2 pitfalls: charge does not last as long as I would like. I get 2 shakes and it needs charged, will not make it to a 3rd round. And while it has great power for its size, cannot handle medium to larger ice cubes, or a dense/thick shake and will lock up or overheat. Overheating is the worst, and will not operate for 30 to 60 minutes. Beyond that, experiment with its limits in mind, and it has been a great portable blender for home or on the go!

Powerful cordless blender
I use both the Blendjet 2 and the Ninja Max. I like them both. Once I read the trick with the Blendjet 2 for blending solids (inverting it, turning it on and then turning it upright so the ingredients encounter the blades at full speed), I was able to blend most smoothies without it stalling. However, the Ninja Max does a much better job with smoothies, leaving less residue and not jamming, even with larger pieces that the Blendjet 2 could not handle by design. It is much more like the 700 watt Ninja corded personal blender, but with a bit more intelligence. Part of its success may be its smoothie program which stops and starts the blender a few times during the cycle. I also like Ninja Maxâs three button configuration and its separation from the base, although honestly you can just pour the liquid from the Blendjet 2 into another container. (I canât imagine why you would carry the Blendjet 2 around unless you need to blend at several different locations. But if you do, that would be an argument in favor of the Blendjet 2 if it meets your blending power requirement). I also like the larger size of the Ninja Max container. I think you can get a larger container for the Blendjet 2, although I wonder if the 16 oz container is what it is really designed for. As far as cleaning goes, the Blendjet 2 is actually easier due to its cyclonic action. As far as the power supply, I donât find the Ninja connector a problem. Yes, a USB C would be nice, but how would you know what size power supply it is actually designed for. Besides, you can always get a generic replacement if you have to. The connector isnât exactly esoteric. Finally I got the cheapest color at the Warehouse â pink. It is definitely not in your face cute. More like a gentle rose color that I have no problem with. In fact, in the description, there is a guy drinking from it. One last comment, it does not have to be recharged after every use. A five minute blend is like 15 normal blends!
