This is really easy to use and will cook a whole package of hotdogs and buns at the same time! Kids really enjoy it and easy to clean too!

Cool little machine, hot dogs just like the gas station!
Everyone loves rolled hot dogs from the gas stations and convenience stores right? This little number does the trick at home so that you can get the same experience! Itâs surprisingly well built, and although not large it has enough capacity for 2-4 people depending on your appetite. The bun warming compartment is a nice feature, just make sure to wrap them in foil to keep them nice and soft. It takes about 30-45 minutes to get that shimmering slightly brownish tint on the hot dogs that are the staple of the gas station rollers. Very pleased with my purchase, and the neon retro colors are cool as well. Clean up is a breeze, just run a damp cloth over the surface of the rollers. Whatâs not to like?

It looks nice, and the compartment for warming really works nicely.However, I could not fit the hot dogs side by side. They weren’t bun length dogs, but regular turkey dogs. I will try a regular hot dog and see how it goes.

Nostalgic hot dog roller
Pleasantly surprised by this hit dog roller. Cooks 8 regular sized and 4 ft long hotdogs. Worked great and cooked hotdogs quickly. Bun warmer is a nice useful touch too. Very happy and reasonably priced. Also, east to clean.

Yum! Taste so good!
It is small but mighty! Itâs a little bigger than a double toaster and you can only make 4 bun length at a time or you can do 6 regular size hot dogs at a time if you cut a little of the tips off so they rotate properly. It is perfect for small counter tops. We clean it and just store it in its original box when not using. I love the taste. The cleaning is easy. I donât imagine it will last for a super long time but for the cost itâs totally worth it, especially if you eat hot dogs every week or twice a week!

Only good with the right hot dogs.
If you want to cook eight hot dogs at a time, you’re probably going to be disappointed, because very few hot dogs are short enough to cook two on each row. Worse, if your hot dogs are too skinny and/or too square, they won’t turn without a lot of babysitting (which kind of defeats the purpose). Breakfast sausages are also suggested, but in my experience, they either fall between the rollers, or refuse to turn.I do like the bun warmer, which fairly comfortably holds eight regular sized buns. It does make the bread a bit dry, but I kind of like that. I just add the buns in the last five minutes or so, and they’re warm and dry, but not too dry. The manual suggests you can cover them in paper towels or foil to keep them from drying out, but I haven’t found that necessary.I still like this, despite the limitations. If you get the right kind of hot dogs that turn easily, and you’re fine with only cooking four at a time, it really works well. But it could be a lot better, which is why it’s 3 stars instead of 5.

AMAZON TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION!!! Using AI to show 8 hot dogs when only can fit 4 and only if placed staggered on the roller. Photos show 8 hot dogs & description states 8 hot dogs fit. This is deceptive & false advertising!!! Doesnât roll if hot dogs placed side by side as shown in photos. If you do place side by side or if the hot dogs are thick it rolls out of the lid. Be careful as you might find your dogs on the floor or countertop if you arenât babysitting it. You need to stagger the hot dogs!!! AGAIN, deceptive advertising. AMAZON TAKE ACTION to correct photos!!!If you cook sausages you have to make sure to straighten them and you might have to put slits in them to keep them rolling. Again, babysit your food. Go back every 5 minutes to look to see how they are cooking.Put the wrapped buns in foil only after the dogs are about to finish so that they donât get hard. Put them on the rack and NOT on the tray. The tray goes right below the hot dogs to catch the droppings.This is light weight so you can store it back in the box and take it out of the box when you want to use it. Also, itâs small enough and cute enough to leave on the countertop if you use it often or want a conversation piece.I found that putting it at maximum timer setting cooks the dogs evenly. If you put it on the Lower timer setting it cooks unevenly and you may get uneven burn marks.It is a chore to clean so it makes you not want to use this. You do have to make the rollers turn by turning the rollers on to clean all sides of the rollers.So knocked off 2 stars – one for deceptive photos and for deceptive descriptions and one for being hard to clean.

This product is not at all what it looks like. It only fits for hotdogs and not 8. It only fits a couple buns, not eight as in the picture. Half of it stopped working after our first time using it. Since it was past the 30 days, we could not return it and are stuck with this junk. Do yourself a favour and donât buy this product. Itâs a waste of money.

When I started warming up the machine, first of all the lid melted due to the heat of the rollers. Then the bun warmers door fell off. As the rollers started heating up the sausages they got stuck to the rollers and started burning! I recommend no one to buy please!

Great gift to keep kids and their friends busy and full.Not sure why it is called extra large as you can barely fit regular hot dogs in it. The photo must be using breakfast sausages to show side by side placement. At best it could fit 1 1/2 hotdogs across or a few jumbo dogs.Either way, cute gift.
