Finally a multi function toaster oven that lasts
Updated Review:We originally bought this in January 2023 and I wanted to give an update that we have been using this air fryer for 20 months now. We usually run it multiple times a day (usually in the morning for breakfast sausages and lunch for chicken nuggets and then occasionally in the evening for salmon or steak if the weather isn’t good for grilling) and it is still going strong. Needs a good cleaning, but other than that it is still in great shape.Original Review:When we moved to our new house, I wanted to get an air fryer and settled on getting a multi-function toaster oven that could air fry. This was our third fryer in 2 years. The previous 2 only lasted around 6 months each.Hopefully not jinxing myself, but it has now been 14 months and this one is still going strong. We use it daily for breakfast for toasting bread, bagels, cooking breakfast sausages, etc. We also use it daily at lunch as our toddler will only eat chicken nuggets for lunch. And we probably use is on average 1 day a week at nighttime to cook part of a dinner in (salmon fillet, steaks in wintertime, home fries, roasted veggies). Long story short, we use it a lot.I love the temperature probe for cooking meats. Works great. No guessing or continually having to stop, take it out, and check it. You just look over at the display and see where you are at and can easily enough estimate how much longer. The controls took a little bit of getting used to. They were not the most intuitive and I had to actually read the instruction manual. But after a couple weeks it is now very easy to use.Love the removable crumb bin on the bottom. Makes cleaning it very easy. There are these bars around the heating elements. I assume they are there to help protect them from getting hit, but they are a pain to clean when everything gets dirty. Burned on oil and grease are really hard to clean off without scratching the element’s glass with the steel wool. From the trial and errors and the other machines that failed, I learned that you don’t want a unit that has the coil power going through the mode selection knob. When you realize you are in the wrong mode and switch modes while the power is on, you burn the contacts off. Pretty sure several people in my household were doing that even though I told them not to and that is how our 2nd toaster died. The second was to have the controls on the side of the machine and not the top. I think the top gets too hot being over the oven and that is what killed our first toaster.

A High Quality & Multi Function Oven
I’ve owned this oven for about 2-3 months. So far it’s been very good and it does pretty much everything that I want it to do. It’s even better than the Breville Oven that I owned. Here are the Pros:1. It heats up very fast for a desktop electric oven. It’s the fastest oven that I ever owned.2. Temperature prob can see current temperature and set what temp you want to stop at. You just set and do your things. This function is very useful and convenient such that it takes away the guessing and it will turn off at the exact temp you set at 1 deg increments. It roast perfect tri-tip as shown in picture. I set it at 137f.3. Can program multiple temp and cook time in sequence, ie. 450f for 5m then 375f for 20m. .4. Clock is defaulted to off, don’t have to keep changing the time whenever you have an outage.5. Nice big size.6. Comes with 2 racks, metal basket and roasting rack&pan.7. Very reasonable price.8. Preheating function will beep when desired temperature is reached. It’s defaulted on but I turned it off but can turn it on manually each time.9. There are more functions than you can imagine like being able to set different outputs(in %) in both the top vs the bottom heating element. So, it’s great for professional chefs. There are many YouTube videos & websites teaching you how to use it.Con:1. You are even able to adjust the convection fan speed, too bad the button is a shared function with WARM function and is cumbersome to use.2. There is an oil burning smell that has not completely gone away after 3 months.Overall, this is the best oven that I’ve owned so far; I rate this oven a 5!

Big footprint on the countertop, but the payoff is worth it.
First off, I don’t get all the reviews that claim it’s difficult to understand or operate; it is not at all. No, it’s not a single button microwave where you just keep adding 30 seconds on high until it’s done. It also makes way, way, way better food, so it takes a bit more effort. But it really is quite easy. Plus, I don’t get all the “turn off preheat” comments. Works fine for me. It blinks when it’s preheating, and the fan is on – how is it so hard to see that it’s operating? Not hard at all. And after preheat, it counts down 10 seconds and starts cooking…again, pretty simple stuff. I was taken aback by all those comments prior to making the purchase, so I was focused on why it was such a weird thing for some people. Again, pretty straight forward for me.Secondly, the cooking times and programs are clearly estimates, everyone’s preferences will need adjusting. All the cook times I tried needed more time, like another 30% more on average. Even when using the package instructions for the chicken fillet’s I air-fried, it still needed 4 more minutes. The bacon I baked took another 3 minutes (this worked well using their “low smoke thick bacon” program/recipe in the booklet. I saw very little smoke, close to none).Lastly, taste – this is where it really matters, the taste is fantastic. It’s the food and nothing else. The chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside. The bacon was packed with flavor. Better than the gas oven. Will be making some fries later today….can’t wait!

    Must have and great price.
I use to have a couple ninja air fryers like this but after divorce I chose this one for the larger cooking oven, more functions and works a lot better than the ninja and more cooking options. Not as heavy built and sturdy as the ninja but this sit in one spot so that isn’t an issue. This one also comes with a cooking thermometer

The oven is beautiful. I gave 4 stars as it was returned. It was too small. I did not use it so I cannot comment on how well it performs.

  7. fahimeh Entezar

It’s size is medium, not family size, also it’s not user friendly, but it works well
