THEY HAVE MOTION SENSORS
The lites have three settings. 1) click once, middle brightness on at night; 2) click twice, dim light mode when no movement; 3) click three times, full bright only when sensor detects movement. The bright setting is very bright.I use the third setting all the time. This works great when my dog goes out at night, she initiates the light by her motion. She is a small dog so it does not take much motion to turn on the light. It shuts off a few seconds after she comes in. I bought the six-pack. Highly recommend .

They work and are bright.
We have used these at 3 houses over the past 4 years, and they are wonderful.For one house, we needed lights for the pool cage and a side of the house that had no exterior light for when our dog needed out at night. I didn’t want to have to turn on lights for her. I used two lights at that house, and they worked perfectly for what I needed.The second house has a back yard fence around the perimeter. With a large population of skunks in the area, I wanted to make sure the coast was clear before letting our dog out at night. We installed lights on the wood fence about 5′ high every 10′ along the fence. The lights work perfectly, and each one turns on as our dog walks around the yard.Finally, we need some helpful lighting around our 1 acre pond. We are goung to mount these on posts every 20′ or 30′ so we can walk the dogs around at night without a flashlight and also know when wild amimals are out so we don’t disturb them.I love the way the lights come on easily, shine brightly, cast the light far out, and then go off in a minute ir so when there is no motion.Nice design, useful for many applications, priced right, and long-lasting.

Great valueâ¦.super bright
I bout these lights for the side of the house where our dog kennel is. I needed good light without the cost of paying an electrician allot of money to install. These lights are perfect and very affordable. My husband screwed then to our fence and it was very easy and they look nice. We have had them about a year and through some very heavy rains. No water intrusion and the motion detection is still going strong. Thinking about getting some from our front yard as well.

Great little light great price
These worked better than expected. I donât have outside lights by my horse shelters or chicken coup so i thought Iâd buy some little solar lights so I can at least see where Iâm walking out there this winter. It hasnât been super cold yet so I hope they last through the winter but they were cheap enough I was willing to try it. They detected me at least 10 feet away. They are bright and do exactly what I wanted them to do.

Need lots of sun or they wonât work
Update 10-21-24: None of the six lights I bought work now. None. Ever. Total waste of money.I had Mr Beams solar lights on a barn for three years. They worked great every night regardless of how much sun we had each day. They came right on at dusk and stayed on until daylight. They got brighter when they detected activity perfectly every time. The problem is they were white light, and all of the other outdoor lights on my property were warm white. So I thought that I would replace them with these. It was a mistake. These do work for several hours every evening IF they get lots of sun during the day. If the day was a cloudy one, then half of the lights simply will not light up at all in the evening. And unlike the Mr. Beams version of these lights, they will not last until the morning regardless of how much sun they got during the day. We do have them on the same mode we used with the Mr. Beams version. They should be on dim all the time from dusk to dawn, and then light up brightly when they detect motion. I also do not believe their motion detection is as good as the Mr. Beams lights. We have to get pretty close to them before they will brighten. I do love that they are a warm white color, but thatâs where my love for these ends. I would not purchase them again. If you can guarantee they will get tons of sunlight every day, and if you do not need them to stay lit all night and are OK with them only lighting up for a few hours in the evenings, these could work for you if you want warm white light.

Great Lights!
These lights are very sensitive to motion and last a long time. We have them on all four sides of our home for 360-degree coverage. We also use them inside our house when our power goes out. They were our only light source for 15 days following Hurricane Beryl’s destruction here in Jamaica. These lights are awesome for such a compact size!

Saw a review of these online, so when they went on offer at Amazon I bought 8 for our garden. After leaving them to charge for a few days (grey skies) I put 4 on either side of my garden, screwing them into the fence posts with the screws provided – very simple. Come night-time when they went on, I was pleasantly shocked at how bright they were on the low setting! The LED lights really do light up the garden and on the high setting are amazing. We also have some of the ‘bee’ string lights, which are ok but certainly more decorative than these, which are all about providing light to the garden. Still to test how they cope with long dull days and not sure how long they keep the light during the night, but time will tell. So far very pleased and happy to recommend.

I purchased a pack of 4 at a very good price. Out of the box each unit appears to be small, each can fit in the palm of your hand. They were easy to install. The instructions for setting the different modes was missing in the supplied instructions, but with a little trial and error I was able to work out the correct mode I wanted. The units worked the very first evening without any additional sunlight, they stayed the whole night about 11 hours from dusk till dawn. They give a good amount of light. I would have rated them higher if the batteries could be replaceable but the unit is sealed, so if and when the batteries degrade you will simply have to buy entire new units. I wait to see how long these will last fingers crossed, a year’s worth would be good for the price.
