Really, no instructions?!
This sandwich maker is fairly self explanatory (luckily) because it doesn’t come with any instructions. Its lightweight and easy to use and you’re able to make/ heat up up to four sandwiches at a time. Having said that, clean up is (evidently) at your discretion on how you would like to do it (remember: no directions). Just use common sense and don’t try to clean it while it’s plugged in! However, it doesn’t take up a ton of space so I’m going to give it to my daughter for her first apartment.

Update 9/9/2024 After having been able to use this sandwich maker on multiple occasions, one additional feature that is disappointing is that it consistently leaves the sandwiches very thin and flattened. If this is not a concern to you it won’t be a problem but we like our sandwiches thicker and ultimately we are not happy with this issue.Original review:This could have been a 4 or possibly a 5 star review but the unit arrived with a broken indicator light making it necessary to periodically lift the lid to see if sandwiches were done. Also, the user instructions provide care warnings and instructions for cleaning the unit, but NO instructions on how to actually use the unit.The unit does make heated sandwiches quickly and completely and unlike units that only make 2 sandwiches at a time this one makes four. Cleaning is easy unless material such as cheese melts into the sides of the unit. To remove the metal heating plates to clean out spills it is necessary to use a screw driver. Also, there are no separate plates for making things such as waffles. We tried it with grilled cheese sandwiches and it worked quickly and completely but because the indicator light failed to work we had to guess as to when the sandwiches were done.Overall, the unit performed as described for making heated sandwiches quickly and easily but the absence of user instructions and the failure of the important indicator light to function leads me to deduct 2 stars, I got this as a gift for my wife but it proved disappointing. As for overall durability it is too soon to comment but I will update this review if other issues arise.

Tried making grilled cheese 3 times. Used less cheese each time. And cheese runs out the side every time

Works great
I bought this toaster to make it easier for my son to make his grilled cheeses. Itâs perfect and I donât have to worry of him burning himself. It toaste perfectly and it doesnât stick which was my main concern. Some cheese spilled but it was not hard to clean, I did it while it was still warm so it made it so much easier. I used a damp paper towel to clean it . Great purchase
