1 out of 4 doesn’t work but seller made it good
This is a difficult review to write. On the positive side, these work inside coach light fixtures where the other motion detector technology does not. They are plenty bright and the three that work pick up motion appropriately, stay on as long as motion exists and then shut off after 17 seconds when the motion has finished. Great for security around our home since I don’t want the lights on all the time but also don’t want anyone on our property, uninvited at night. The difficult part comes in that one of the 4 bulbs doesn’t work property – it goes on and off constantly, motion or not. Moved it to another fixture but still does the same thing (all three are on the same circuit). I’m concerned that if I return it along with a good one (they come in packs of 2 so I’d have to return 2) and then get back two that don’t work properly. Reading other negative reviews, the actions of the one that doesn’t function properly seem to be a failure point for the product. On the other hand, once I contacted the company, they immediately made good on the defective product – best response from a seller on Amazon that I’ve ever experienced. I’m sure now that I will have 4 working bulbs.

works a little too well
Ok, i’m surprised that these flood type lamps are pretty bright. They are 5000k so they are that whiter light that is great to brighten up dark areas like my backyard. I have two bulb sockets that were mounted high near the the top corner of the roof to illuminate the backyard. So the two lamps are spaced about 45 degrees apart to shine on the whole yard. They aren’t pointed down but maybe a little farther out to the corners of the yard. With that said, they are mounted pretty high, over 12′ and they are detecting some sort of movement. The lights will come on every 5 seconds. Almost suspect that there’s something triggering it besides movement as it’s a regular cycle. I”m going to have to turn this off at night which defeats the purpose of this light as it will bother the neighbors as it flicks on and off every 5-10 seconds. So i’m going leave it on hoping that there is some sort of break in period, maybe the bulbs will get dustier and block some of the movement sensing? But i have to say, for a small light and movement sensor embedded inside the lamp itself, it sure is working beyond what i thought, as it said it should work at about 3-5 meters. Anyways, 4 stars for now as they are bright and the light is more then i need, but the motion sensor is a little bit too sensitive.Update: i put a 1″ piece of electrical tape cut in half length wise on each side of the 3/4″ sensor or what i assume is the sensor in the middle of the bulb face. So like 3/4″ on each side i put some tape. I’m not sure if it’s the tape, but at least it turns off for longer durations now. It’s still detecting motion quite easily, but usually after 12am it stays off at longer intervals. So not sure what you make of that, the trees moved less? possibly. At first i put the 1″ piece of tape covering the center and it didn’t seem to want to turn off for whatever reason. I want to try put a few more pieces of tape on it as i think this will solve the constant on and off. i think i’ll position it so it covers half that middle black looking sensor right in the center. it was windy yesterday night so it came on excessively, so i hope it’s not bothering the neighbors too much. The extra pieces of tape should desensitize it a little more and i think it’ll be perfect.Update2: As temps been dripping after midnight its been staying off longer. Maybe 4 hours at the longest. Usually after midnight. I still will add two more small strips of electrical tape on the other two sides blocking just a little of the center sensor to desensitize it just a bit more. There does seem to be some animal movement triggering so overall they do work.

The Radar Motion Sensor Light Bulb, 2 Pack A21 15W are a waste of money and defective.
The Radar Motion Sensor Light Bulbs, 2 Pack A21 15W I recently purchased had a defective bulb. When the bulb was installed, the bulb flickered on and off. The bulb should have illuminated for about 17 seconds and then go out. The bulb was securly screwed into a proper socket in a coach light.I completed a return request for a replacement. I received a replacement, installed the first bulb and AGAIN the new bulb was defective. When I installed the bulb, it should have illuminated for approimately 17 seconds and then go out. The bulb stayed lit for more than 2 minutes. This occurred at 2 pm in the afternoon in bright sun light. I unscrewed the bulb waited for about 1 minute and re-installed the bulb. The bulb stayed lit for about 17 seconds and then went out. During evening hours, the bulb kept going on and off by itself (Every 20 seconds) with no one walking in close proximity of the bulb. I would NOT recommend purchasing these bulbs. I can see that maybe you could get a bad bulb once but getting a bad bulb again after ordering for a second time tells me these bulbs are substandard and a waste of money. Climbing a tall ladder and going through the monkey motion of installing them was really aggrivating.

Good motion sensing light
The radar motion sensor is incredibly accurate and picks up even the slightest movements. This means that the light turns on the moment I enter a room and turns off when I leave. The sensor also works through walls, so I don’t have to worry about leaving the light on when I go into another room. The light is also incredibly bright, providing ample illumination for any room. The bulb itself is energy-efficient and has a long lifespan, so I can save money on my energy bills and avoid having to replace the bulb frequently.Installation was a breeze – I simply screwed the bulb into the socket and it was ready to use. There was no need for any additional wiring or complicated installation procedures.Overall, I am incredibly impressed with the Radar Motion Sensor Light Bulb. It has exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an energy-efficient, easy-to-use, and effective lighting solution.

Bulbs failed within a year
When they worked, the bulbs and sensors worked well. The range was good and the bulbs lit up my driveway. But after about 10 months, one bulb failed and never lit up again. The second failed at the 11-month mark. Doesnât seem like a good product if it doesnât even last 1 year. I will replace with a different brand.

This highly sensitive, radar motion, sensing light bulb works well and gives off ample light for our front and back porches. They are a great option if putting up a motion sensor lamp isnât possible. They could be used indoors too. I would recommend these bulbs.

El producto funciona muy bien, es muy sencible y la luz es muy agradable
Navin –
Great product. I like how wide the range of detection is, the clear lighting it provides and the overall price point vs value.
Jose Hanchi –
buen producto. aunque la sensibilidad es bastante alta y se enciende con movimiento de plantas, seria ideal que tuviese un regulador de la sensibilidad de detectar movimiento

Works for the intended purpose of motion detection for vehicles and persons passing within its radar.
