Surprisingly good.
Using this camera to keep an eye on a remote piece of property located a few hours away. The motion tracking is exceptionally good (way better than I expected), the image is clear, and the video stable. I’m using a t-mobile prepaid SIM and at $10 for their 2gb plan, it’s pretty affordable per camera. Set up was no muss no fuss – literally just popped a SIM and SD card in it, used the app to add it, and it was up and running. It hasn’t fallen below 90% charge yet, even at night, and the build quality itself is pretty stout with the camera having a metal body. I do wish the mount for the camera itself wasn’t plastic, but I’ve got it secured to a tree with some decking screws, so I don’t anticipate anything being able to get to it.It’s so good thus far, that I just ordered another one. I’ll come back and update this review if anything changes for better or worse.*update – March 10, 2024*Added a second camera as previously noted, and they’re both still working flawlessly. They’ve made it through the overcast West Virginia winter, and the battery life never fell below 80%. Snow, rain, wind, ice, and everything else winter could throw at them didn’t seem to matter. There was one instance where ice had formed over the camera lens, but live viewing the camera and activating the built in LED light seemed to warm it up enough to melt the ice off within a matter of minutes. Overall, still pretty impressed. Like before, will update if anything else notable occurs, but for the time being they’re still going strong.

Great quality and it works great!!
This security camera is easy to set up the quality is very good. There is not so much lag . I truly think the value for money is worth it and the picture quality is great for the outdoors.

Only lasts until the warranty is out
I have 4 Reolink cameras of various models but they all work and connect the same. All but one of them has corrosion on the solar panel plug and has stopped working just as my warranty is expiring. Customer service (understandably) wants you to test everything before they’ll warranty anything but that’s a huge hassle when you’re not on the property regularly. By the time I got around to running all of their tests my warranties were out. Very disappointed.

Just about perfect!
I bought one just to work with my Go PT around my property and so far I am impressed. I would say it is a huge upgrade. I actually bought 2 of them. Partially to retire the Go PT which I will get in to a little bit in the cons. If I can get it to work, the Go PT will live another day. Assuming Freedompop will work again… Go with EIOT Club for the SIM card. It will work immediately.Pros: Metal housing is a huge bonus. Dual lens is pretty awesome. Active tracking is pretty neat too. Will have to play around with settings. The best thing I have found so far is the pre set views. Rather than pan and tilt to a point which takes time, set it once and it’s like speed dial. It goes to those points really quick.Cons: Though the panel to access the power switch has captive screws, the SD card panel is not. I guarantee you I will lose those screws at some point. The antennas are built in. This is one of the reasons I am retiring the Go PT. Though that antenna can be replaced, it literally crumbled after being exposed to the Florida sun for a year and a half. That is my biggest concern.I am really excited to see this camera in action for security, hog damage monitoring, and time lapses during hurricanes.

Good 4G gives great streaming, fringe 4G is laggy
Using the EIOTCLUB SIM cards, got great streaming in the city, but laggy in rural areas. Your experience will hinge entirely on how good or bad 4G and the APN is where you’re using the TrackMix. It’s not solely based on how many “bars”, but also on how good the APN (4G access point) is in the area. In the city I got the same number of bars inside a house of plaster walls with metal lathing – streaming was smooth and latency low. In the rural area, outside with a cell tower about 2 miles away, I got the same number of bars, but streaming was jerky and high latency (20-30 seconds). I needed a camera that doesn’t need grid power or land internet, to see what is happening during and after storms. The TrackMix has already proven itself in that scenario with Hurricane Debby. Make sure the solar panel is oriented as much to the sun as possible, and not completely shaded, and it will always have power. Artificial light will *not* be enough for the solar panel. The TrackMix is a great camera, but make sure it will work in your area for your use case before the return period expires.

Great for job sites
Occasionally not enough sun and numerous notifications and battery will die⦠but still 5 stars as only happened couple of times.
