Love this!
I started buying pieces to the system summer of 2023 and love it all. I like this wired one, but if you donât have an outlet with 12.5ft get tge battery one with the solar panel accessory. If you donât get a subscription you wonât get the smart features but you can still know what is happening live & take pics.Setup is super easy. Quality of product & video is great. Color is true. Recording capability is whatever you set it to on app. Connects easily. No batteries so no limit on life. 2 way sound works just fine if you unmute on the app. App is super easy. And you can get the various parts of a system in your own budget time. The subscriptions are actually very cheap. They do even offer monitored subscriptions.Works great with all the other parts. And when you sign in on another roku device on tv you can see everything even if you are not home!

Great purchase!
I purchased ours a few weeks ago and have been really impressed by it and happy with my choice. It came super quick and was very to to install and set up! The features have not disappointed, such as the Roku tv integration which is highly convenient. Iâve found the battery life to be great so far. The HD video clarity is sharp day and night with the night vision capability. My husband and I feel like our home is much safer now. Checking the security feed is also easy and convenient. I love that the camera is weather resistant. This is overall a great system for home security and I highly recommend.

Good luck
Do yourself a favor, try another brand of camera first. I had so much trouble just getting though basic steps and lots of troubleshooting for it to finally never work.First, you have to download and install the Roku Smart Home app on your phone. No problem. Done. Then, you have plug the camera in, unfold the base, and press and hold the very tiny setup button underneath until it says “ready to connect”.Then, after selecting the Outdoor Wired Camera in the Add New Device list in the app, you tell the Roku app you heard it say “Ready to Connect”. So far so good right?Well, next pops up this QR code. I could not get the camera to see it. I moved it closer, farther, angled it, left, right, shade, light. Finally realized the QR code is slightly cut off on the edges. If you look at the 3 black boxes at the corners of the code, you can see they’re not completed/squared off, so part of the QR code is MISSING. Turns out after Googling, it’s a development bug that happens on some phones. Ugh. Ok, no problem, use daughter’s smartphone, hope it doesn’t have the problem.Got a little further. This is after 30 minutes of trying to get the prior steps to work, keep in mind. So this time, it displays properly on my daughter’s phone and I heard “QR code scanned”. Yay.I click Next and wait for it to connect to the network. A little bit of time goes by, and then I hear “Unable to connect to network”. Yes it’s 2.4Ghz. No there’s no MAC filtering going on or whitelisting needed. Yes the pwd is correct. Yes all other devices can connect to the network no problem.Back to Google. Turns out I’m not the only one that has had this happen to. Tried some of the troubleshooting steps (just keep retrying, reset device, make sure phone is on 2.4ghz (it always was), turn off LTE, I could go on and on.Seriously, I must’ve spent an hour trying to get these things to work. I’m done, they’re going back in the box and back to Amazon.Roku, if you read this, have your freaking developers at least fix the QR code display issue on some of the phones. Yes, I have a recent phone, it’s not that old, I just upgraded about 8 months ago. And do something about your software/networking being unable to connect to a basic 2.4Ghz network, or start supporting both 2.4 and 5Ghz bands. This isn’t the year 2004 anymore. This just shows you did not and do not test on enough devices or put enough money into your QA department.

Nice Camera for the money – Clear image.
All features are good and work well. The only bad side of this camera is the power wire is only 10 – 12 feet wish there was an extension power cord to add an extra 35 ft. of power cord.
