    Security Analysis
The book provided a fantastic amount of knowledge. Typically, I️ purchase audio books, but I️ knew I️ would use this as a reference book. It is dense, but highly recommend if you are serious about stocks.

    Hasty, but fair review
I just want to draw attention to the quality of the hardcover edition. It’s an 800 page book and the joints are pretty much paper mache. I somehow poked a hole through the cover and the joint within a day of ownership. That has never happened to me before. To potential buyers: Be very careful and don’t expect it to be a nice durable book you can liberally take places to read or read while you commute. To authors: Content is incredible! Maybe ask for more input into quality of hardcover or change publishers! To publishers: What are you doing? When I say “paper mache” I am not embellishing. The joints are actually thin paper holding 800 pages. The book is about 2.5 inches thick. You need to produce something slightly more durable, something that a consumer could possibly keep long-term. I really don’t see how this book lasts unless I treat it like some ancient text that will wither if I expose it to air. Do a little better, please.

    The Crown Jewel
With 800+ pages, written nearly a century ago, Graham laid out many key metrics and areas of focus that might not be directly relevant in today’s world. Many have said that it is the philosophy that lives on, but the crown jewel lies on, in a practical sense, joining the dots. A core theme that Graham tried to introduce is how he used numbers from financial statements to tell a story – how good the company is. Much like a fictional story, one cannot just read a chapter or two to figure out the rest. Likewise, one cannot just focus on the earnings, the balance sheet net cash value, or the trend one at a time whilst ignoring the rest. Every single technique introduced needs to be connected for the purpose of telling the story of how good a company is.

Seth and Buffett (Columbia grad too) pretty impressive.
While listening to CNBC, Seth stops by to talk about this book. I was totally caught by surprise. First, the tone of voice — you can tell he knows what he is talking about (He is like Buffett few years younger talking to you.) Then I get the book in my Kindle and the foreword Buffet writes and the preface by Seth are pretty impressive. This book from another era (1929 crash) might just be the investor’s bible of this era — thanks to the careful work of Seth editing and bringing examples from this century. Thank you for your time, Seth.

  9. Eduardo Silva Raguenet

Excelente livro que apesar de ser escrito ha quase 100 anos consegue trazer lições atuais para princípios de investimentos para tanto a pessoa física quanto instituições de investimento.

Seth Klarman is read by Warren Buffet. This book is must have for all

  11. AmazonPurchaser

While I haven’t read the book yet, it did arrive promptly in perfect condition.

  12. Amazon Customer

although there are many important chapters in the book but there are many that are missing and need to be read online, wish it had them all not sure why this decision was made to remove those chapters

  13. Kindle Customer

A large chunk of the book is now available online only. What’s the point of printing a physical book and move a substantial portion of it, including the whole of apendix online. What a wasted effort.
