AOQEE 2K Solar Camera: A Surprisingly Good Buy
I’ve been using this camera for a while now, and I’m seriously impressed. Especially considering the price, it’s a steal!I needed a camera to keep an eye on my patio door, but I didn’t have a power outlet nearby. A detachable solar panel wasn’t an option because of my HOA rules. And to make things even tougher, my wife’s got a ton of plants and trees, so finding a spot with direct sunlight was a challenge.I finally settled on a spot under the covered part of my backyard. I figured the sun’s angle would give me about an hour and a half of direct sunlight each day, but I wasn’t sure if it would be enough. Even so, I decided to give it a shot.The camera itself is really well-built. It’s all metal, heavy, and has a built-in solar panel on top. The mounting bracket is super sturdy too. Setup was a breeze using the app on my phone. It took me less than a minute to get it connected to my Wi-Fi.I was surprised by how well the solar panel worked. I spent a month on vacation, and the camera never ran out of battery. Even with some cloudy days, it kept going. In fact it is almost a week I’m back and so far it is still going, no need to recharge the battery, just solar power !The image quality is 2K, which is good enough for me. I don’t need 4K or 8K just to watch my door. Plus, the night vision is surprisingly good. It can easily illuminate the area around my door from a distance.Overall, I’m really happy with this camera. It’s a great value for the price, and it does the job perfectly.Iâve attached some pictures to show the image quality, the zoom capability and the night vision.The first one is the normal door view, the second showing the digital zoom and the third the night vision (the light on the window is the night vision of another camera I have)

Who would have thought? Cheap! Quality Product! Solar Powered! Wifi Connection! PERFECT!
Who would have thought that I would LOVE these cameras… First of all… these cameras are not EXPENSIVE… so automatically I was skeptical on the quality… Since I was not convinced this is the product for me.. I took one camera from the bunch and connected one to my wifi and placed on my back patio, in the sun, facing my back door… I will say, I do have great wifi coverage right outside of my home… (this plans a big deal on connectivity reliability).. I was able to get and keep a wifi connectoin on my back patio.. The quaility of the image is AWESOME… and the powering via solar makes it even more reliable… While it still run a battery, there is enough solar charging to keep the camera going…. I have been able to keep a eye on my back doggie door during the day AND night (with nighttime color, I can tell WHICH cat is entering /exiting (have 2 cats that look alike in Black and White, but very obvious when in color)….. (making sure only my dogs/cats use the door, and not a stray or “other” animal… So great charging and stays going via solar… this is a no brainer.. worth the buy! Cameras for home security? YES!! Cameras for home security on a budget? YES! You will not regret the purchase!!

The camera quality is awesome, and setting it up was super easy right out of the box. The built-in lights are surprisingly bright for how small they are and the camera has decent battery life. I like that you can charge them with a USB-C cable or solar power. One thing that bothers me, though, is that for the price, they really should include an SD/TF card since you need one for local storage. (I got the 4 pack) Another drawback is that unlike the other cameras iâve bought from this brand that support ONVIF and RTSP (so you can connect them to local software), these donât. The app is pretty solid, so itâs not a huge deal, but still a bit annoying. On the bright side, the mount makes it easy to get the perfect angle, and the night vision is pretty decent. Overall, itâs a great camera with a few minor quirks.

Good Camera at a Good Price
I’ve been using the AOQEE camera for a couple of weeks now and am very pleased. Connecting the camera to Wi-Fi was easy, but I had to split the bands before because its 2.4 GHz, so there was an extra step. I mounted the camera outside using the included hardware and screws.The app is very user friendly and has many options to customize settings, such as motion detection or the light function. I receive notifications when the camera detects motion, and I can view a short clip of what the camera recorded. I’m using an SD card, so I can view a longer clip if needed. There’s also cloud storage for an additional fee, but the SD card works fine for now.The best part is that the sun is its power source, so no plugs or periodic charging is needed. I haven’t seen the battery level fall below near full , so the solar charge appears to be working good.So far I really like everything about this camera: the price, ease of use, functionality, and reliability. In fact, I liked the camera so much that I recently purchased a second one.

La recharge solaire est un vrai plus, surtout en été, cela me permet de ne jamais m’inquiéter de l’autonomie de la batterie. La qualité d’image est excellente, même la nuit grâce à la vision nocturne. En plus, elle est résistante aux intempéries, ce qui la rend idéale pour une utilisation en extérieur. I have been using the S1 for about a week now and am impressed by the smooth look of it, but it does mean that the camera has to be placed in a sunny area as the solar panel is fixed.Set up is really easy as the Wansview App works well and is pretty intuitive. I also like the ability to change sensitivity and light mode at night. Including the ability to charge by cable is a good idea too with our long dark Winter nights.The picture is good for its size and SD card storage is ideal, making it viable economically.The only thing I couldnât get to work is the motion detection on the siren. This would be useful with people in the house if only so that we could let the dog out !I have it looking by the garage where there is no power, so a solar one is the only option. Recommend.

La configuración desde wansview, como siempre, muy sencilla. Habra que ver cómo se comporta en envejecimiento del plástico en la intemperie y la estanquidad. La calidad de la imagen bastante buena.
