Easy Setup and connection. But where is the 3x Zoom?
Out of the box this camera was easy to set up and connect to WiFi through their App. I love the magnetic mount. The pictures are clear but the app is a little clunky. The biggest disappointment is that I cannot figure out how to use the 3x digital zoom in the specifications and marketing video. I updated the firmware and used all the typical pinch, pull methods standard on iPhone software.Night vision works really well with the light on. I will update this review if I can figure out how to zoom.

I got this camera for my parents’ house to help them feel more secure, and it has been a great addition. My dad had no trouble setting it up with the magnetic mount, which made installation quick and easy. The 2K resolution provides clear video, and the color night vision is impressive. Itâs already come in handy; my mom spotted a raccoon getting into her garden one night using the motion detection feature. The AI detection helps avoid unnecessary alerts, and they appreciate the option to store footage in the cloud or on an SD card. Itâs reliable and gives them peace of mind.

Works great, good distance, instructions aren’t good
-The good: great intro price, works well, nice camera view, great customer service response (I asked if it was waterproof as it doesn’t look it and got a yes first thing the next morning). Rechargeable battery (though it is a little awkward to plug in to charge and the supplied cord is very short.) Battery life is unknown at this point but mine is at 99% after 12 hrs and about 20 videos to test it. Free one month trial of online 60 day storage (rolling 1 day storage included or micro SD card can be installed.) The color is very good and the recording is time-stamped which is a huge plus in my opinion.-The iffy. The subscription is slightly higher than some of the competitors. (It won’t break you though and the SD option is there.) The enclosed instructions are printed in such tiny print that I could not read them until I took a photo and enlarged it. There is no real manual even online. The camera appears a little slow to detect and start recording. I set mine up and walked toward it from about 35 feet and the recording started at about 15-16 feet. (They do say detection is worse if you go towards it but where I have it that’s really the only likely option- it did record more quickly when I had it set the other way.)The other thing I don’t like besides the instruction booklet is that the SD card and on/off button are in a very awkward place. This may help with keeping it water tight but made figuring it out very hard. There appear to be fewer setting options than with some of the competitors.
