Outdoor Solar Motion Sensor Light overall operation excellent, but solar panel lacks adjustments.
Outdoor Solar Motion Sensor Light charges rapidly. Once charged it holds a charge that lasts for days, even when there are mostly clouds. The light has a setting, which keeps the light dimly on at night, but sufficiently sufficient to see, and, then goes to its full brightness when it senses a human motion. It does not constantly mistakenly turn on because of trees blowing in the wind. The motion sensing is overall excellent. There is one problem, which is the solar panel CANNOT BE MOVED SO IT WILL COLLECT DIRECT SUNLIGHT. The solar panel only moves with the light. Very not good in this respect, but still is able to obtain enough sunlight to charge sufficiently and actually rapidly, has been my experience so far. Only because the solar panel does not have adequate adjustments I down graded to 4 stars. The problem with the solar panel not having enough adjustment could be easily corrected by the manufacturer, however it has not been corrected. I have purchased several of the lights over a long period but the adjustment for the solar panel has not been corrected.

Arrived faster than expected. I’ve been in Quality Assurance for 40 years and I am pleased with the quality of this product. It was also much brighter than I had expected. So many solar motion lights don’t have a lights off when no motion is detected and stay on dim, I wanted one that turns totally off when no motion detected as this product does. Would buy again if needed.

Got it for a Xmas gift for mom. She hooked up worked great for a week and then quit working. If your gonna buy it for gift test it first. Its past my return date and now I can get my money back or exchange

I purchased both this product and a similar one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0742YMGB9what I like: very well constructed aluminum (while the other one is all plastic)what I do not like: the motion sensor not very sensitive, only work at a very close range. it is noticeably less bright than the other light which is rated at only 800LMthe other product also has a ground stake adapter, which is perfect for me, since I will not have to improvise a way to mount it in the front yard by the gate.so, even though this one has aluminum construction, I am returning it, and keeping the cheaper plastic one.
