    Great camera system
    I’ve been using Swann products for many years now and on this system was by far the easiest setup I’ve ever had with any camera system but make sure to connect a monitor or TV directly to the DVR, don’t waste time trying to setup with one of the Swann apps, direct hdmi connection is the easiest and most straightforward way to set these up. Since I already had a Swann camera system already set up, all I had to do was replace the DVR and swap out the cameras and it connected immediately to the Swann app so I’m good to go.

    JUST WANT TO SAY, IT IS ONE OF THE BEST, OUT OF THE BOX, VERY EASY TO CONNECT AND SET UP. CAMERAS ARE GREAT AND CLEAR. OWNED THE OTHER BRAND (THE OWL) FOR YEARS AND THIS SYSTEM IS FAR MORE SUPERIOR AND COST LESS TOO. WOULD HIGHLY RCOMMEND SWANN SECURITY SYSTEM TO ANYONE.

    Overall it’s a great deal.
    I still can’t get it to work on my TV through an HDMI cable, and I can’t get it set up on my desktop computer. I had to go out and buy a brand new TV, and it STILL wouldn’t work on it. So then I moved my computer monitor out to the main room and hooked it up, and it worked with that. So now I had to go buy a new monitor for my computer. I am tech handicapped, so I’m frustrated. I did manage to get the app on my phone, so I can see things when I’m away as well as being able to walk out to the family room and look at my 24″monitor there.If you are younger and more tech savvy, you should do fine. If you are getting it for an older family member, help them set things up. Please.

    bad installation parts, no installation instraction If you are not a pro dont purchased!!!!
    Well, I owned a Lorex camera system in two years hard drive went out three cameras started to be blurry , was time to replace the system, we got a swann system, installed three cameras left side of living room started the rest of the installation polled the cables an find out the CHEAP SWANN company included to short cables, well the bad camera company head 100 feet cables, the cheap company who supposedly better company has only 75 feet cable na these is CHEAP, I would send the crap back but I have installed three cameras, SHAME on them< SWANN you people are bad and scams, profit only RIGHT! screw the customer, but remember you live from my many and future purchases .

    Worst customer service I’ve ever seen.
    I’ve called five times at different times of the day and on hold for as much as 21 minutes before it automatically requires you to leave a message. No one ever calls back nothing ever gets done. The product may be five star, but their service is zero star.

    Tienen toda la noche una potente luz blanca encendida, que no se puede apagar como en otros modelos de la marca, por lo que dan bastante el cante , no las devuelvo por que me va a costar más el desmontaje que comprar unas nuevas….En la descripción no lo especifica por ningún lado

    As other reviews state, the cameras have no IR so it’s pitch black at night (the main time you’d want to be recording IMO). I ended up returning the items.

    Love these cameras for their colour night vision, and that you have the choice of alarm sound with strobing lights or simply light come on, when PIR detects movement. Good range. Good quality vision day or night. Check your DVR if getting replacements, whether it’s Ethernet lead connected, or twin power & cctv lead connectors. Upgraded my SWANN box and missed that observation.
