Easy to install, easy to set up and functioning as desired
Instructions very clear, came with all the necessary parts to install, setup instructions clear, easy to adjust. Now the light in my pantry comes on when the door opens and stays on for 1.5 minutes as per my programming. No more reaching for the off switch when hands are full and no more light left on by mistake. Why did I wait so long to do this?

Easy installation and work as expected.
Easy to install. My existing switch only has w wires and a ground, and with no neutrals. It was great to find this motion sensor switch. I am still trying to figure out how to switch between the occupied vs vacant mode I wish it is a sliding switch not the push for 3 second variant. However, the motion sensing part work just great. 15 second is about what I needed for it to stay on. Overall, I am very happy with the product.

Motion Sensor with Easy Always on Switch
Most of the motion sensor light switches lack an easy to access switch to keep the light on for longer periods of time. I like the motion sensor functionality for my garage as I typically need to grab something from the freezer, get in my vehicle, or arrive with my hands full. I like the automatic on feature for those short durations and I don’t have to worry about turning the light off after. However, sometimes I am working in my garage and sitting in an area that the sensor is blocked from. With my previous motion sensor, I had to get out a screwdriver to slide a small switch to activate the light to always on. This is much easier to simply slide the switch to “on”. I haven’t had to use the “off” feature, but I suppose that could be handy if you don’t want the light to automatically turn on during a certain time. Works perfectly and changes from motion to always on with the slide of a switch. An added bonus is that a typical square faceplate fits perfectly, but the reason for 4 stars is because it doesn’t come with a faceplate. It wasn’t an issue as the switch I replaced had one, but it’s annoying to have to purchase that separately.

Perfect for the attached garage!
This is the 2nd motion sensor switch I’ve purchased and installed in the last 7 years. The old switch just decided to stop working a couple months ago, so I got this as a replacement. This motion sensor switch is perfect in my attached garage. The light switch in my garage is in the most awkward spot. It’s 2 feet away from the door opening and down 2 steps. Not something you want to try and find when it’s pitch black and you can’t see a thing!Instead of risking my life to go into my garage of darkness, I installed this motion sensor switch. It’s great! The light comes on whenever I open the door and I never have to remember to turn it off. You simply set the length of time you want the light to stay on (15 seconds to 30 minutes) and you’re good to go. The light also comes on as I drive my car into the garage so there is plenty of light for me to see when I get out of my car.You can also override the automatic settings if you need the light longer than your standard settings. You just slide the switch from Auto to Manual. Just remember to change it back or the light will be left on all day and night!I live in MN so we have pretty extreme temperatures (below zero to hot/humid) and this switch has worked well in all conditions. It can be a little slow in the subzero temps in the winter, but I haven’t noticed any major issues aside from that.Like another reviewer said, the instructions say that it needs a NEUTRAL wire. Make sure you have a neutral wire in the box where this will be installed or this switch won’t work for you. It took about 10 minutes to install and a minute or two to adjust the sensor settings.

Purchased this item twice – both failed in a matter of months
I’m not sure how this has so many five star reviews. After a few months, the lights would stay on, and the switch would not turn the lights off, nor would the sensor turn them off. I replaced the first one I bought with a second switch and that one, too, failed within a few more months. It had the same defect, keeping lights on without any way to turn them off.Buy a brand name switch for twice the price. These are junk.

The instructions are pretty good. I got 2 switches and both work differently and the time on the settings isnât accurate. One of the switches works pretty well so far but the other one doesnât turn on with motion. I came here to get support and there isnât any. So 50/50 you get a good one and itâs fine. Also like others have said the plastic tabs on the cover break off easy.

Installed this on our garage light circuit yesterday. Now when we enter the room the lights come on. The time on is adjustable. The sensor sensitivity is adjustable. It does require a neutral wire to work. So far very happy with this switch.

The sensor works perfectly, and having the dials for customizing the sensitivity, length of time itâs on, and whether it detects ambient light made this an ideal sensor. There are probably other options, but I can say the one I received works as I hoped.

I have installed this motion sensor in the basement play room which doubles as a guest space when family visits. Having the on auto off feature was critical to this application. Generally it is left in auto where is does an excellent job a sensing motion but in the complete dark and the ambient light during the day, my basement windows do not get any direct sunlight shinning through them so I don’t know how it would perform in that situation. Sensing angel is superb and seems to be the full 180 degrees.

Quick install, works with LED lights (no flicker!) and arrived with good instructions. Works exactly as I expected.The only reason I give this 4 stars is what I consider a design flaw: you can’t access the dials to adjust the sensor timing without removing the switch plate.
