Great little camera, easy setup, clear picture, no subscription, great price
This a great little camera, it’s easy setup, and has a clear picture, there is no subscription fee, and ir was at a great price. I got it for my living room window to look out on my porch. It included a mounting and I attached it to the side window frame and have a clear view of my front steps, porch and door. Because it’s on my wifi I can view it even when on vacation. It is electric and has to be plugged in. EDIT: I bought a 2nd camera for my back door and it was just as good, except it quit working recently. I messaged customer support and they sent me product updates but they did not work. So the company sent me a brand new replacement!

Customer Service – Outstanding
I have 4 cameras. After a few months or so, one of the cameras started constantly corrupting the SD card. I reformatted the card a number of times, would corrupt it after about a week. I replaced the card about 3 times thinking it was a bad card. Nope. I didn’t get cloud service on any of the cameras, an extra cost I didn’t want. So, I asked for help through the VIMTAG app and got a quick response. They posted an update to the camera that unfortunately didn’t help. Customer service was very quick, and instead of replacing the camera (extra time/hassle), they gave me an immediate solution. They gave me a WHOLE YEAR of free cloud service. Got it up and running in under a minute. These aren’t expensive cameras, but they have a really good quality picture, and you just can’t beat the customer service. There are a few things on the phone app that could be easier (too many steps), but it gets the job done. BTW, all this happened 11 months after I bought it; so they could have just said “sorry, it’s not covered anymore”.. but they didn’t. They went above and beyond IMO.

This little camera packs a punch
The camera is easy to set up. Initial configuration is done through an application. The device has QR code on it to identify it in the application. Then programming the wireless connection is done by having the camera scan a QR code from the application.The device is small and comes packaged well. It includes hardware for wall mounting and an adhesive strip for mounting as well. It also comes with a plug and USP cable. The sort cable from the camera has a rubber boot to protect the wire connection from the elements. Overall the camera is well-made.Use through the application is easy. Much like many similar devices in the space, it connects to a cloud service to provide streaming to the application and has a skill for Alexa as well. For the average consumer, you can’t beat the value.I purchased this camera not only because of the price but because it stated it supported ONVIF. In the application, it does state the ONVIF is experimental. The ONVIF functionality is not desirable. It does function but uses the same connection mechanism as the cloud services. This causes the local streaming connection to fail. To be clear the cloud application work flawlessly. In order to get this camera to for with my NVR, it had to be isolated from the internet. Not the most desirable outcome. I hope this is resolved in a firmware release; however, not sure if I will be made aware of it because the camera is limited to my network.I would have actually rated this much lower if it was not for the superb support I received by email. I hope little hope when reaching out to them, but found the support function extremely helpful and quick to respond to my questions. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for an easy cost-effective solution to add security to your home. Advanced users be aware that not all features may work as expected.

**UPDATE**Great cameras BUT the Vimtag app is horrible
**THE VIMTAG CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A 5 STAR. ALTHOUGH THEIR CAMERA APP IS NOT GOOD, THEY REALLY DO TRY TO MAKE EVERY CUSTOMER HAPPY. FOR THAT I GIVE THEM 5 STARS AS THAT IS SOMETHING RARE.**I have a total of 9 cameras and 3 of my cameras are vimtag cameras. They have by far the best picture and sound quality of any of my other cameras, BUT unfortunately, the app that you must use for the cameras is horrible. Currently, the app has a 2 star review. The app constantly has connective and SD card issues. I tried purchasing the icloud subscription to see if that was any better, but unfortunately, some of the icloud videos would record distorted and when I reached out to Vimtag concerning this issue, they claim the problem was with icloud and when I reached out to icloud they claimed the issue was with the app. Lost $29.95 on the icloud subscription, but luckily, I only subscribed for the icloud on 1 camera, plus I was able to confirm it was the app. I have had to delete the app and reinstall multiple times to get the app to load my cameras. Very inconsistent with its reliability and when it comes to securing your video, you definitely want a reliable application. Unfortunately, the Vimtagâs app is not reliable. It’s a shame because these cameras are by far the best for recording video and sound. I will not purchase another Vimtag camera and will begin the process of replacing them with another camera that has a more reliable app or program for recording my videos.

Great investment
I absolutely love my cameras â¤ï¸ This is the 5th one I buy. They work great on wifi and the picture quality is excellent. I can see what’s going on even when I’m away from home .I have had one for about 3 yrs now and it works great! Captures movement ,sound and it uploads to the cloud if you need to review any video.Super easy to set up
